Might give them a try, just to see how modding can create gameplay mechanics. Outside of ai I can't think of much. Any pointers what to look for? EE's ERIS, LW's Consensus adaptation or Transdyne economic manipulation, SOR's SC2-style macro mechanics, LU is a hidden traitor game, Conquer has a stock market, PEAI has that strange taxation system, etc - plenty of mods implement new gameplay mechanics[2019-1-29. : 3:29 pm] Voyager7456 -- NudeRaiderNudeRaider shouted: Voyager7456 ao was still a rts. I've played great RPG maps. Nekron Yeah I think inconsummate was the mod I was referring to which was an exception to the rule that mods tend to forego gameplay to impress. it did both. I've never played an RPG map that actually implemented new gameplay that didn't feel like a gimmick.
