Moose -- Yeah, should've thought about veteran before you stopped slaying Dem0ns to become a Dem0n yourself.
[2016-5-02. : 8:41 pm]
TiKels -- Veteran is based upon how good of a person you are... sorry demon.
[2016-5-02. : 8:37 pm]
Clokr_ -- Dem0n
Dem0n shouted: Almost nine years of service and still no veteran, smh

[2016-5-02. : 8:36 pm]
Clokr_ -- Vrael
Vrael shouted: Clokr_ there's a great free CalTech course which includes linreg, logreg, SVM's and Neural Networks by prof. Abu Mostafa that I highly recommend
Thanks!
[2016-5-02. : 8:36 pm]
jjf28 -- wait wut, hold trial for corruption plz
[2016-5-02. : 8:36 pm]

[2016-5-02. : 8:34 pm]
Dem0n -- Almost nine years of service and still no veteran, smh
[2016-5-02. : 8:34 pm]
Moose -- In technical fields, they should be. But if you're submitting a paper of whatever, you should be making a PDF or whatever of the document instead.
[2016-5-02. : 8:34 pm]
Dem0n -- Roy
Roy shouted: Vrael Nonsense; I've changed. I used to be Roy the Regular, remember?
Speaking of which, why am I still a regular? LMAO

[2016-5-02. : 8:33 pm]
Moose -- I need to get rid of that stupid autoreplace
[2016-5-02. : 8:33 pm]
Moose -- TiKels
TiKels shouted: I've learned more about word formatting in my college career than I'd care to admit.
Just use TeX, imo.
[2016-5-02. : 8:33 pm]
TiKels -- Why use tabs or spaces when you can just do "format first line of paragraph with 1.0" indent"
[2016-5-02. : 8:32 pm]
TiKels -- I might know more about that software than Solidworks 3d modeling
[2016-5-02. : 8:32 pm]
TiKels -- I've learned more about word formatting in my college career than I'd care to admit.
[2016-5-02. : 8:31 pm]

[2016-5-02. : 8:30 pm]
Roy -- After reading dumbducky's computer build thread, I wouldn't trust him to order a pizza. Just sayin'.
[2016-5-02. : 8:29 pm]
Moose -- dumbducky
dumbducky shouted: Oh shit are we taking neural networks?
Maybe. We're more interested in your opinion on tabs versus spaces, though.
[2016-5-02. : 8:29 pm]
Roy -- Just kidding, you'll be fine. Except the debt, of course.
[2016-5-02. : 8:29 pm]
Roy -- If you graduate.
[2016-5-02. : 8:28 pm]
TiKels -- I mean you're not wrong. But I graduate in December Vrael
Vrael shouted: Tikels on the other hand, has a chance to grow
[2016-5-02. : 6:21 pm]
KrayZee -- Vrael
Vrael shouted: how will he hear when I beep angrily at him when he cuts me off in traffic? That shouldn't be allowed dammit
He doesn't have to put up with that unless you gesture or drive suspiciously around him
[2016-5-02. : 6:19 pm]
KrayZee -- Very interesting
[2016-5-02. : 6:18 pm]
KrayZee -- But a deaf driver doing some sign language and a thumbs up like BB-8
[2016-5-02. : 6:18 pm]
KrayZee -- Usually drivers are often talkative, sometimes the driver is quiet and do not engage in communication.
[2016-5-02. : 6:17 pm]
Roy -- Good ol' SEN.
[2016-5-02. : 6:16 pm]
Vrael -- Roy
Roy shouted: Vrael Nonsense; I've changed. I used to be Roy the Regular, remember?
yeah but that wasn't you changing, that was SEN changing how it treats you
[2016-5-02. : 6:16 pm]
Vrael -- how will he hear when I beep angrily at him when he cuts me off in traffic? That shouldn't be allowed dammit
[2016-5-02. : 6:16 pm]
Roy -- Vrael
Vrael shouted: that's because you're a static character in the novel of my life and don't learn or change at all
Nonsense; I've changed. I used to be Roy the Regular, remember?
[2016-5-02. : 6:15 pm]
KrayZee -- It's an app on iPhone
[2016-5-02. : 6:15 pm]
Vrael -- then how did he hear you needed a Lyft?
[2016-5-02. : 6:14 pm]
KrayZee -- Interesting, I requested a Lyft ride and the driver is deaf.
[2016-5-02. : 6:14 pm]
Vrael -- Tikels on the other hand, has a chance to grow
[2016-5-02. : 6:14 pm]
Roy -- It's solid advice that almost nobody will follow.
[2016-5-02. : 6:13 pm]
Vrael -- you've just always been, and always will be, Roy
[2016-5-02. : 6:13 pm]
Vrael -- that's because you're a static character in the novel of my life and don't learn or change at all
[2016-5-02. : 6:13 pm]
Roy -- I'd repeat my same procrastination mistakes if I were given the chance all over again.
[2016-5-02. : 6:12 pm]
Vrael -- Roy
Roy shouted: Vrael Haven't you ever been a normal student?
I'm helping him learn from my mistakes
[2016-5-02. : 6:11 pm]
Roy -- Vrael
Vrael shouted: TiKels how come you're only working on your project the day its due? :P
Haven't you ever been a normal student?
[2016-5-02. : 6:11 pm]
Vrael -- but they're completely not useful because no real-world application ever has all the sampling and feature extraction and formatting and shit already done
[2016-5-02. : 6:11 pm]
Vrael -- well thats not entirely true, if you've had a team of engineers already come in and sanitize the data and do feature extraction and format everything nicely for you in some standardized database (basically all the real work) then there are over 9000 software packages with GUIs that pretend like they're useful
[2016-5-02. : 6:09 pm]
Vrael -- TiKels
TiKels shouted: Also I should mention that this is not some kind of gui, all the code is just Matrix math and standard functions. That's what makes it even more frustrating
gui's are for squares anyway, if you're using a gui while doing ML you're probably doing something wrong
[2016-5-02. : 6:09 pm]
Vrael -- though I don't think he covers neural networks
[2016-5-02. : 6:08 pm]
Vrael -- theres also plenty of free Coursera courses, my favorite is just Machine Learning by Andrew Ng
[2016-5-02. : 6:08 pm]
Vrael -- you can find it free online
[2016-5-02. : 6:08 pm]
Vrael -- Yasser Abu Mostafa I think is his full name
[2016-5-02. : 6:07 pm]
Vrael -- Clokr_
Clokr_ shouted: Vrael, it does sound interesting. Do you have any good references to get started on this?
there's a great free CalTech course which includes linreg, logreg, SVM's and Neural Networks by prof. Abu Mostafa that I highly recommend
[2016-5-02. : 6:07 pm]

Clokr_ shouted: Vrael, it does sound interesting. Do you have any good references to get started on this?
there'
[2016-5-02. : 6:06 pm]
Vrael -- TiKels
TiKels shouted: Great. You all come out of the woodwork an hour before my project is due
how come you're only working on your project the day its due? :P
[2016-5-02. : 6:04 pm]
jjf28 -- http://www.staredit.net/352320/ in fact, your current string section only works cause sub-string recycling :O it'll take me a while to get that coded up
[2016-5-02. : 5:35 pm]
jjf28 -- 64254 characters divided into 1032+ strings is way too much
