You say that barely happens, I say ultra is more prone to freezing than any other unit. I still contend that your best option is to maintain higher DPS than the volt and have relatively high hp ups.

Your ling should attack volt with l3's until volt decides to defend with any spell, If he l1s you still l3, if he l2s you can final and probably 2 or 3 hit him depending on your ups, if he finals and runs then just damage him and micro him, once his final ends lurk again, or if he l2s you final again. It happens but but doesn't make manual "not worth mentioning". Most cases Volt is going to be using L2 to dodge a lurker shot and the ling won't even be in range. Hell, if the ultralisk freezing is such a big problem just wait for the Volt to react with a crappy L2 that makes him ummovable and proceed to rape him.

Assuming that it's late game and Mutant has a enough mana for it. Then again there's always the random variables such as what was stated about the ultra freezing.

DM will mael the ultra and good chance ling will lose. That means there's two ways for ling to beat DM and that's either aiming the orb either with lurks or ultra asap (can't stop ling doing this at night) or pumping enough armor for L4 not to effect you, as well as plenty of lurker upgrades and mana for manualed lurks.
A pro volt will l2 and l4, l2 > lurks, l4 > ultra.

That's a bad thing for the Volt. If the Volt L4 were to fight the ultra L4 then it would just turn out with SuperVolt being severely damaged with the ultra transforming back to ling and lurking once or twice to finish him.
That's the whole point. L2 is his only defence besides running away with L4. It also slows him and makes him unable to use spells in the duration.

You want and expect the Volt to L2 when you lurk. He can't use other spells while using L2. If he L4s after you L4 it's what I mentioned before about the SuperVolt probably being destroyed.

It may be one of his only defences, but it's effective. Plus, in a mana battle volt should always win. Once mutant runs out of mana to l3 with, volt can finish him or run.

Domination? = =? Green really didnt learn his lesson when he died the 1st time to ultra while l2ing. And as i said b4, NONE of the ling's l2 actually his green or purp, ya like 1 or 2, but not really enough to call it an attack. Purp could really have started attacking temple, but no, he decided to make stupid cannons at the enemy base. Only reason why ling won was because of the spawn feed, and purp just decided to go make stupid cannons, when he could have used that money on upgrades to rape base. No noteworthy plays here, just the typical "I got more mins from spawn and i pwn you all" tactic. Not even worthy of the word domination. In better context, more like: "Ling gets alot of money and kills a temple"

lol ofc l2 archon gets pwned by ultra. l2 does not affect ultra and just makes archon slower, making it vulnerable to ultra attack. Im pretty sure rine could micro temple against easily even if ling has lurk. Lurk splash would only help kill temple.

Archon's l2 affects all units. Ultra can manual through it, however. Lurker bombs aren't hard to avoid with any unit with a speed over 5.

Alright Folks!We got a total of Thirty-two Votes... WOW! That is actually a pretty good turn up.
It seems that, from our popularity poll, that the winners are
- Mutant in First place
- Warrior in Second place
- and Assassin, Light Mage, Mech, and Volt hogging third place.
These heroes will be considered in TS2, if it's ever conceived.
In the meantime, FlashBeer and I are both working on v1.6, and rather than changing a lot of things, he has added more options for certain heroes, like the assassin, the archer. Here's a little teaser: with l3, archer's spore colonies will spawn guardians that attack once.
Zany's also working on a perfect kill to cash system..
Lastly, I've written down a rather long list of things that need to be fixed, and will be when the final version comes out followed by the tourny version.
This may take more time than what I initially thought, but these additions are good, and we'll c wut we can do before SCII comes.

Some units such as rine can defend the temple from spawn. It is through this they can get alot of money and eventually rape temple//players. idk, i just feel that the kill values are a bit high after rine. Either make spawn stronger to compete with the late game players or lower the min value.
