hi, again me  . i have an array of questions about AI in UMS?
1. could i write my own AI script?
2. could i include and use my own AI Scripts in my maps?
3. is it enought to fire a trigger one time which run Ai Script or this trigger must be fired each time during looping of all triggers?

1. Yes
2. Not without a mod .exe
3. Don't preserve, only run the action once.

@Sym
For #3, you would need to have the script preserve every 120 seconds. Sometimes the A.I gets buggy and doesnt work correctly (I know this for a fact).

Trigger #1:
Condition:
Switch 1 is set

Action:
Add 1 death for Cave-in
Preserve trig

Trigger #2:
Condition:
Player suffers 60 deaths for cave-in
Run A.I script.
Set deaths of cave-in to 0
Preserve trig

Id do this just to be on the same time. However, this all depends how big a role the A.I plays in your map.

Absolutely 100% completely false. I don't know how you came to this conclusion. The triggers you posted would only run the action once anyway...

The AI does get buggy and stop working properly on occasion, but re-running the script won't fix anything. Me, if I have a problem with an AI script, I use a different one...

(This coming from the guy who uses Order>Patrol to create attack waves, and only ever uses AI scripts for random things like building nukes at a silo...)

Constructing a counterexample is answering the question: "Is Navier Stokes well posed?" in the negative
