[2017-6-01. : 12:04 am]
Corbo -- ugh, it has been so long since I have touched it when I was making a new tileset.
[2017-6-01. : 12:04 am]
poiuy_qwert -- Hey Corbo, I'm going to look at PyTILE again, do you remember anything you might have not told me because I wasn't looking into it before?
[2017-6-01. : 12:03 am]
Corbo -- hey poiuy
[2017-5-31. : 11:38 pm]
poiuy_qwert -- Mini Moose 2707
Mini Moose 2707 shouted: Yeah, scm2txt would just dump CHK sections as human readable text.
Mini Moose 2707
Mini Moose 2707 shouted: But like w/e, FaRTy would already do that if I actually described the output in detail LMAO
Yeah I already having it exporting to A format, though it is just an initial implementation, so there may be better ways to format it that we could look into
[2017-5-31. : 11:37 pm]
poiuy_qwert -- Yeah definitely
[2017-5-31. : 11:35 pm]
Moose -- Cool, can you post up how to do that as a tutorial?
[2017-5-31. : 11:34 pm]
poiuy_qwert -- Mini Moose 2707
Mini Moose 2707 shouted: UPDATE "units" SET gasCost = gasCost / 2 WHERE "name" LIKE "Terran*"
Mini Moose 2707
Mini Moose 2707 shouted: Oh, I thought you meant my batch editing dream.
Yeah so that is currently possible by using python scripts using PyMS, so I probably wouldn't make some sort of database like thing
[2017-5-31. : 11:28 pm]
Moose -- But like w/e, FaRTy would already do that if I actually described the output in detail LMAO
[2017-5-31. : 11:28 pm]
Moose -- Yeah, scm2txt would just dump CHK sections as human readable text.
[2017-5-31. : 11:28 pm]
Moose -- Oh, I thought you meant my batch editing dream.
[2017-5-31. : 11:27 pm]
poiuy_qwert -- i thought you also wanted the text output so you could use it for diff in a repo?
[2017-5-31. : 11:27 pm]
Moose -- or w/e flavor of database you like LMAO
[2017-5-31. : 11:26 pm]
poiuy_qwert -- well you could edit them with python scripts using the CHK library included in PyMS
[2017-5-31. : 11:26 pm]
Moose -- UPDATE "units" SET gasCost = gasCost / 2 WHERE "name" LIKE "Terran*"
[2017-5-31. : 11:26 pm]
Moose -- Basically, if I could edit the contents of CHK sections as if they were a database.
[2017-5-31. : 11:25 pm]
Moose -- And back again.
[2017-5-31. : 11:24 pm]
poiuy_qwert -- So you just need a command to output text version of the chk to std out?
[2017-5-31. : 11:20 pm]
poiuy_qwert -- Moose, I'm actually making changes to PyMS right now, I could finally put some command line support for map stuff :O
[2017-5-31. : 11:18 pm]
Moose -- I thought DevliN was always retired and just left behind a trust fund to pay for SEN LMAO
[2017-5-31. : 11:12 pm]
CecilSunkure -- So is Moose the new Adming and DevliN is the new Retiree or something SMH C|X>DDDDD

[2017-5-31. : 9:20 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- Mini Moose 2707
Mini Moose 2707 shouted: Suicidal Insanity Ya, but hard to report to you when you dead for 5 years, maybe give an email address or something LMAO
Can't argue with that. But it wasn't used even during active development.
[2017-5-31. : 8:47 pm]
Dem0n -- 💯🔥🔑💥

Suicidal Insanity shouted: Mini Moose 2707 I'm pretty sure it says report this to SI and mentions the file :P
Ya, but hard to report to you when you dead for 5 years, maybe give an email address or something LMAO
[2017-5-31. : 6:59 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- NudeRaider
NudeRaider shouted: Suicidal Insanity I sent you one once, but you didn't mention it's useful and didn't complain when I didn't send it, so I stopeed.
Speaking of crash dumps, I just got two, which don't make much sense :(
[2017-5-31. : 4:56 pm]
Ashamed -- lol
[2017-5-31. : 4:47 pm]
Pr0nogo -- Congrats though
[2017-5-31. : 4:46 pm]

Ashamed -- Which is good for my area
[2017-5-31. : 4:42 pm]
Ashamed -- 70k with a half year 5k raise and then a yearly 5k raise to bump me to 80k in 12 months
[2017-5-31. : 4:42 pm]
Ashamed -- B00m I got the raise fam
[2017-5-31. : 3:14 pm]
Pr0nogo -- No big deal anyways, it's better than having nothing at all
[2017-5-31. : 3:14 pm]
Pr0nogo -- I'll look out for that in the future but I believe it just crashes
[2017-5-31. : 3:04 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I'd fix/remake some old tools but I'm at work most of the time and lazy
[2017-5-31. : 3:00 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- also, I told you it wasn't finished
[2017-5-31. : 3:00 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- Pr0nogo
Pr0nogo shouted: i am going to write a program that sends you an email every time tileedit2 crashes because i accidentally hit cancel or backspace
I think you can just hit "continue" or whatever :P
[2017-5-31. : 2:23 pm]
Pr0nogo -- sure, thanks for helping with this
[2017-5-31. : 2:21 pm]
poiuy_qwert -- k, well I'm at work now, so I'll look into stuff more when I get home later
[2017-5-31. : 2:08 pm]
Pr0nogo -- done
[2017-5-31. : 1:54 pm]
Pr0nogo -- okay, I'll post in the thread about it
[2017-5-31. : 1:40 pm]
poiuy_qwert -- I had some ideas on how to fix one of the bigger workflow issues with PyTILE, I will probably try updating it some. I would also be interesting in knowing what your workflow is like, and where the pain points are there
[2017-5-31. : 1:37 pm]
poiuy_qwert -- Pr0nogo
Pr0nogo shouted: i would actually pay someone to code a usable terrain editor
Pr0nogo
Pr0nogo shouted: pytile doesn't open
I'm definitely interested in helping out with PyTILE (i even got my laptop out and charged!), dont need any compensation though (you can pay me in minerals if you really wanted to :P)
[2017-5-31. : 11:57 am]
Suicidal Insanity -- I haven't looked at my tileset code in ages, I wonder if it would be hard to just dump the parsed tilesets back to disk.
[2017-5-31. : 11:27 am]
Pr0nogo -- harder than drawing a webcomic, that's for sure
[2017-5-31. : 11:21 am]
Suicidal Insanity -- Pr0nogo
Pr0nogo shouted: i would actually pay someone to code a usable terrain editor
How hard can it be? ..... https://xkcd.com/1831/
[2017-5-31. : 11:20 am]
Suicidal Insanity -- Mini Moose 2707
Mini Moose 2707 shouted: Yeah, because it just says something bad happened and lets you save a thing but doesn't tell you shit about what to do with it. Also, you were MIA for like 5-10 years in which I would have sent plenty to you LMAO
I'm pretty sure it says report this to SI and mentions the file :P
[2017-5-31. : 11:19 am]
Suicidal Insanity -- NudeRaider
NudeRaider shouted: Suicidal Insanity I sent you one once, but you didn't mention it's useful and didn't complain when I didn't send it, so I stopeed.
I thought I used that to verify the cause of the crash.
[2017-5-31. : 11:01 am]
NudeRaider -- Suicidal Insanity
Suicidal Insanity shouted: Pr0nogo I should add that as a feature to scmdraft, because almost nobdy sends the minidumps.
I sent you one once, but you didn't mention it's useful and didn't complain when I didn't send it, so I stopeed.
[2017-5-31. : 10:51 am]
Pr0nogo -- pytile doesn't open
[2017-5-31. : 10:51 am]
Pr0nogo -- tileedit corrupts shit, tileedit2 corrupts shit and crashes
[2017-5-31. : 10:50 am]
Pr0nogo -- i would actually pay someone to code a usable terrain editor
[2017-5-31. : 10:48 am]
Moose -- Yeah, because it just says something bad happened and lets you save a thing but doesn't tell you shit about what to do with it. Also, you were MIA for like 5-10 years in which I would have sent plenty to you LMAO
[2017-5-31. : 10:43 am]
Suicidal Insanity -- Pr0nogo
Pr0nogo shouted: i am going to write a program that sends you an email every time tileedit2 crashes because i accidentally hit cancel or backspace

[2017-5-31. : 6:17 am]
Pr0nogo -- Now I need to get a converter from VGA to HDMI to run my second monitor :(
[2017-5-31. : 6:17 am]
Pr0nogo -- For the longest time I had my second monitor plugged directly into my mobo's internal chipset because I didn't have enough adapters on my gpu
[2017-5-31. : 5:20 am]
NudeRaider -- CecilSunkure :wtfage:
[2017-5-31. : 5:08 am]
NudeRaider -- Dem0n
Dem0n shouted: cuz can't use two different sized monitors LMAO
tbh this sounds like the most reasonable course of action. You can stay on your old gpu because 1080p gaming, you have the option of 1440p gaming, for games that run on your current hardware and on the desktop things will look that much smoother on the 1440p monitor and you have a 2nd monitor open that has your chat/mail/shoutbox/whatever you're doing on the side. It really has no downside apart from a maybe a cosmetic one - which you have most of the time anyway unless you're prepared to buy your current monitor a 2nd time, which is probably outdated or maybe not even available anymore.
[2017-5-31. : 3:01 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- Jack if I posted my job in there, anything I could say would be followed by a "Well, duh." :P
[2017-5-31. : 2:19 am]
Voyager7456 -- Perhaps I'll have to give it another chance
[2017-5-31. : 2:19 am]
Voyager7456 -- I watched a bunch of the first season but I don't know if I made it to the 2nd
