[2017-10-05. : 5:59 am] NudeRaider -- m.0.n.3.ym.0.n.3.y shouted: Dem0n an enemy? so how do i remove it? lil-Infernolil-Inferno shouted: just don't create it in the first place sometimes it's the simplest answers that are hardest to realize. But how do you best do it? Never create triggers for specific players. Change trigger owners around so you can create them for current player or force - those will "detect" and ignore missing players. Triggers for absent players won't run either.[2017-10-05. : 3:48 am] lil-Inferno -- Dem0nDem0n shouted: I'm pretty sure if you use current player for the unit owner it won't create it if the player isn't in game, but specifically saying player 1 will create it. ya[2017-10-05. : 3:31 am] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- FaRTy1billionFaRTy1billion shouted: Dem0n that is correct if it is under a force or in all players force, all players, or has multiple players checked[2017-10-05. : 3:30 am] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- more simply, "Current Player" can never be a player that isn't in the game[2017-10-05. : 3:29 am] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- you can specify P1 in a P1 trigger, since that trigger won't run if P1 isn't there[2017-10-05. : 3:28 am] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- Dem0nDem0n shouted: I'm pretty sure if you use current player for the unit owner it won't create it if the player isn't in game, but specifically saying player 1 will create it. that is correct if it is under a force or in all players[2017-10-05. : 3:24 am] Dem0n -- I'm pretty sure if you use current player for the unit owner it won't create it if the player isn't in game, but specifically saying player 1 will create it.[2017-10-05. : 3:21 am] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- human players that are not in the game are enemies with every other player. ExcaliburExcalibur shouted: Current one and I are having issues, I think it'd help if she was more into gaming but she's not. No hate, but ditch her and get someone local. These never work out. Long distance and issues already? Not worth at all.[2017-10-04. : 9:28 pm] Ashamed -- dumbduckydumbducky shouted: What does Moose do? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YG6DifUtPvs[2017-10-04. : 8:27 pm] Ashamed -- I'm not confused though, on the contrary people tend to hire me because I come across very confident with my work. I dunno perhaps you used the wrong word. Because I feel like I don't portray confusion very often. However my grammar isn't the best lol.[2017-10-04. : 8:14 pm] Ashamed -- If me as an engineer can detect when my monitor looses power via remote makes me muddle-headed.. I guess I want to be muddle-headed lol.[2017-10-04. : 8:09 pm] Ashamed -- because power got cut off to my wireless adapter? As long as I make them stacks I don't care.[2017-10-04. : 7:57 pm] NudeRaider -- lolz you sound like an engineer version of a muddle-headed professor/scientist[2017-10-04. : 7:50 pm] Ashamed -- computer wasn't even crashed lol.. Powercable to my monitor stopped working and it had the wireless adapter plugged into it ha[2017-10-04. : 7:29 pm] Ashamed -- Both the machines are gaming computers as well.. They for sure are not "typical" business servers ha. My company will give me some free rack space. I might get an actual server one day. I dunno[2017-10-04. : 7:28 pm] NudeRaider -- AshamedAshamed shouted: I feel like its not that crazy of a situation ha. me neither. Initially it sounded like you had like half a dozen physical machines.[2017-10-04. : 7:27 pm] NudeRaider -- well then you're doing all I recommended. Use one or two servers, and use hyper-V to have separate hosts.[2017-10-04. : 7:27 pm] Ashamed -- I want to use my media server for me.. and the other one for that other guy until he sets up his own server.[2017-10-04. : 7:26 pm] NudeRaider -- we talked about your development machine. With your hosting stuff. For this machine the media server is not local, it's on the network.[2017-10-04. : 7:25 pm] Ashamed -- How is it being too lazy to run it on one server over the other because its locally.. If they are both my local clients?[2017-10-04. : 7:24 pm] Ashamed -- I rather separate it. I want my stuff to run as smooth as they can ha.[2017-10-04. : 7:24 pm] NudeRaider -- "local" is a technical term. it doesn't mean a physical place. It means the same host - the same computer.[2017-10-04. : 7:24 pm] Ashamed -- I could put two web servers on the media server but that would get reduntant ha[2017-10-04. : 7:23 pm] Ashamed -- yeah the media server is a ryzen micro desktop I have in my livingroom.[2017-10-04. : 7:23 pm] Ashamed -- both machines are at my house... I just use the other server for my shit.. Dotn want his app on it[2017-10-04. : 7:22 pm] NudeRaider -- k. so the answer is "you're too lazy to put some of your hosting stuff on the server because it's simply more convenient to you to have it locally (+ the fact that leaving it running is no big deal)" gotcha ![]() [2017-10-04. : 7:21 pm] Ashamed -- I am a systems/automation engineer - and I got two extra free lance clients last month so it was a very good month.[2017-10-04. : 7:21 pm] Ashamed -- I said we had a similer story.. I had worked at office depot after dropping out of school lol[2017-10-04. : 7:21 pm] Ashamed -- I dont sell services though.. like im not having this guy pay me.. its just an extra feature with working with me... He doesn't need to figure all that shit out y et.[2017-10-04. : 7:20 pm] m.0.n.3.y -- AshamedAshamed shouted: Excalibur Keep at in Excalibur. I have a similar story. I am a few years ahead of you though. I am almost 28. In Sep I brought in 15k. It was pretty crazy. how tf did you make 15k in one month working at office depot? unless, again, if you live in an extremely high cost of living area |
