Moose -- Apparently people have written some scripts to extend that functionality, but it seems pretty limited. So yes, but it depends what you want to do with the spreadsheets.
[2016-1-13. : 1:33 am]
Roy -- Can't Vim do spreadsheets?
[2016-1-13. : 1:25 am]
Moose -- Unless Generalpie is super interested in trying and learning different spreadsheet software, he probably has better things to do, like flopping or whatever.
[2016-1-13. : 1:25 am]
jjf28 -- being genuine overrated imo
[2016-1-13. : 1:25 am]
Moose -- Can't even be genuine in 2016, shaking my head.
[2016-1-13. : 1:24 am]
jjf28 -- oh I read that as "glad you like something that works well" ~sarcasm :P
[2016-1-13. : 1:24 am]
Moose -- Just because I use different software doesn't mean anyone else should. If there were a significant advantage (other than being free and open source), then I would advocate harder. But as far as I know and for my requirements, there isn't.
[2016-1-13. : 1:22 am]
Moose -- I hope I wasn't construed as saying he or anyone else should switch their spreadsheet software.
[2016-1-13. : 1:22 am]
Moose -- jjf28
jjf28 shouted: Mini Moose 2707 trolelele
???
[2016-1-13. : 1:20 am]
jjf28 -- Mini Moose 2707
Mini Moose 2707 shouted: Good, glad you have something you like that works well.
trolelele
[2016-1-13. : 1:16 am]
rockz -- now that I don't have a proper backspace or delete key it's a moot point.
[2016-1-13. : 1:16 am]
rockz -- the only major difference for me with libreoffice calc and excel was that the delete and backspace keys were switched.
[2016-1-13. : 1:16 am]
Moose -- Good, glad you have something you like that works well.
[2016-1-13. : 1:15 am]
Generalpie -- It's just easier and faster to use Excel for my workloads, especially since the new hardware acceleration engine(?) makes the whole thing butter smooth
[2016-1-13. : 1:13 am]
Moose -- The syntax these days is the same for anything I've used it for, though a function name here and there may be different.
[2016-1-13. : 1:13 am]
Generalpie -- The new Excel is so good though.
[2016-1-13. : 1:13 am]
Generalpie -- Rather thought my distro was a good daily driver
[2016-1-13. : 1:12 am]
Generalpie -- Er
[2016-1-13. : 1:12 am]
Generalpie -- And thought it was a good idea to use it as a daily driver
[2016-1-13. : 1:12 am]
Generalpie -- This was when I was using Linux.
[2016-1-13. : 1:12 am]
Moose -- Yeah, I remember trying LibreOffice on Windows many years ago, it wasn't very fun, lel
[2016-1-13. : 1:12 am]
Generalpie -- More complicated formulas used god-awful syntax, and the built-in formula set was very small
[2016-1-13. : 1:11 am]
Generalpie -- Back in high school, I needed to work on some spreadsheets and powerpoints. Dear god the Libre Office Suite was so terrible back then. It's been a couple of years so it might have improved in that amount of time. It was sluggish for rather large spreadsheets, and trying to do anything more than use a default graph template to output a graphic based on a predetrimed set of data was a nightmare.
[2016-1-13. : 1:10 am]
Dem0n -- I never use that shit lmao
[2016-1-13. : 1:10 am]
Dem0n -- I don't even know how to use Excel other than making graphs :hurr:
[2016-1-13. : 1:09 am]
rockz -- I mean I have excel on my laptop, but it's 2011 and god-awful.
[2016-1-13. : 1:09 am]
Dem0n -- Don't be scrubs and go to a school/work at a place that gives it to you for free, imo.
[2016-1-13. : 1:08 am]
Moose -- Generalpie
Generalpie shouted: Mini Moose 2707 Oh god. That brings back nightmares ;~;
Why?
[2016-1-13. : 1:08 am]
rockz -- but excel costs money
[2016-1-13. : 1:08 am]
Dem0n -- Don't be OS artisans and just use Windows, imo.
[2016-1-13. : 1:07 am]
Generalpie -- Mini Moose 2707
Mini Moose 2707 shouted: More like LibreOffice Calc X^DDDDDDDD
Oh god. That brings back nightmares ;~;
[2016-1-13. : 12:57 am]
Roy -- There are a bunch on Ninite.
[2016-1-13. : 12:56 am]
Moose -- Yeah, there's plenty of PDF readers. I think I was using Foxit back on Windows. Not sure if that's still around and good.
[2016-1-13. : 12:54 am]
Roy -- A little birdy told me PDF-XChange is a good alternative to Acrobat.
[2016-1-13. : 12:53 am]
jjf28 -- speaking of mainstream things, someone kill adobe acrobat for not being able to render straight lines xD
[2016-1-13. : 12:45 am]
Moose -- More like LibreOffice Calc X^DDDDDDDD
[2016-1-13. : 12:44 am]
jjf28 -- excel-lent

[2016-1-13. : 12:29 am]
jjf28 -- Oh_Man
Oh_Man shouted: NudeRaider Well it is finished in that you can finish the main story. But there is only one complete side quest. I aim to add two more side quests, then *I* will consider it finished myself.
.. tenatively
[2016-1-13. : 12:22 am]
Oh_Man -- NudeRaider
NudeRaider shouted: NudeRaider oh I thought it's finished. How much is done?
Well it is finished in that you can finish the main story. But there is only one complete side quest. I aim to add two more side quests, then *I* will consider it finished myself.
