I have only tried the modern mpq compressions of SC2 in the remastered version and compressed a map quite lot as a test.

I did like the original math with repair cost and item value. That is not the last version. The last one is buggy as my 2D battlefield had bugs. The gameplay is boring, but the inventory system worked.
