When Starcraft Broodwar was popular I used to be a map maker. I used Starforge to make terrain changes (doodads and sprites addition). Starfoge anables many things SCMap Draft don't, like a nice effect of stacked minerals, more wide bridges or ramps.
I'm trying to use it again now (2026) but I'm facing instalation problems. Tried to put the file to run in compatibility mode to windows XP, but when I open the .exe file it asks me for "starforge data files" and I don't know what file that is. Gemini said to change the install file on the starcraft/broodwar .iso to a file .mpq. I tried that, but starforge doesnt have .mpq format available on the menu asking for starforge data files.

I'm using this for the terran turret, since it has a marine inside it
