All comps are unallied and will kill each other.
Smart AI

Special-
At 5 minutes you get aid.
At 15 minutes you get a economy boost.
At 25 minutes you get reinforcements.

I CANNOT EMPHASIZE THIS ENOUGH!:
DO NOT USE YOUR COMMANDER/GUARD TO SCOUT! YOUR ENEMY HAS ONE TOO AND YOURS WILL BE KILLED! YOU DO NOT GET ANOTHER.

they basically lost most of their army in one big battle and didn't have the time and production to leverage the economic advantage and come back from that blow.
