wonder if its okay if we used picturemapper 5.0 for generating map...note...not all of area is buildable.

Basic? Nah, you can map on whatever level you're capable of you just aren't allowed to mod.

Been away in flordia for the past 4 days or so, just got back. Even though you probably don't care i'm going to tell you why I was there. It was a tournament for Shotokan Karate, i'm part of JKA, Google it. I took first and second in two different category's, Kata/Kumite(sparring). Hopefully lots of you are making maps for the contest, you still have plenty of time so don't think you can still enter if you have not started. Keep mapping.

i meant to ask if u could use the x-tra editor thing... cause i don't think it's modding, per se. I don't necesarrily NEED it... it would just add a couple perks...

I've never really competed with my map making, this would be an interesting test of skill to see where i actually am on terms of the better mappers... I think i'll try it, and i also had the question about using editors like Xtra- or Scmdraft... i mean, i'm perfectly fine with 'only' using the basic sceditor but having things like text color, a grid, and things like that are helpful... would Xtra and Scmdraft be counted as mods or no?

Xtra and Scmdraft are not modding. I suggest using one or the other (Scmdraft is more powerful) as almost everyone else will.

Unless specifically stated, 3rd party editors like these are assumed acceptable.
