OK, So i was wondering how you make it so when a unit is created, it is created next to something like a probe. Like in most cat and mouse games. Also i was wondering how I can disable buildings, i know how to disable upgrades, but not buildings.

BTW, I tired searching for the first problem, and I didn't find anything. I haven't searched for the 2nd one yet but I'm going to right now.

If you have paypal I'll give a dollar (:O) to the first peron that helps me figure it out=]

We do a little trolling

Always center a location on the probe. Then create units at that location.

To disable buildings (if you're using SCM Draft 2) uncheck the box that says buildable by default or something like that.

$1 please@NerdyTerdy__@hotmail.com :P

My Projects:

Impossible Ultraviolet | Impossible UV 2 | Impossible UV 3
Mercenaries 2020 | Mercenaries III
Squad Defense

Legacy Projects (No guarantee of functionality in modern SC):

Pixel Adventure 2 | Space Snipers | Control the Ball

Hey wow, you actually sent it. I'll always remember you as a man of your word :] Good luck with your map, if you need anymore advice you can have it for free. I was just joking about you sending the money actually :P

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
