Im using SCMDraft on a fairly extensive map, and I added a few triggers with display text messages, and now whenever I go to close the triggers box, half of the triggers with display messages pop up saying corrupted string, REPORT THIS. Not only do I not know what could come of this, its also very frustrating. Anybody have any clue as to why this happens and how to remedy it?
None.

Obviously ScmDraft's trigger recycling system, screwed up. This happens occasionally. You should go back to an older version and try again. ScmD's backup database is very detailed, so there won't be much to redo once you found the last working version. It's in the advanced menu.
And don't forget not to go over 1024 strings. Remove comments if you need more strings.
You could also use the standard names for death counters/switches or when the map is (nearly) finished even location names. But I think you'll have to name them all the same to conserve strings.
Going over 1024 strings isn't a problem, as long as it doesn't hit the character limit. Also, did you use the string editor, or use another editor to edit the map at any point?
None.

We had a topic discussing string limit on maplantis.
Some people say there ARE problems when over 1024 strings.
I don't think they made that up since a friend of mine told me that his strings screwed up too when over 1024.
Thoug others said you could go over 1024, there was not any clear solution how it would be safe to use more.
Do you know how that can SAFELY be done, Falk?
Use SCM Draft only, and compress using Uberation 3 or OS Map 2, that's how.
None.
