UPDATE - 27 MAR 2026 (Final update)
Mission 1:
- The transmissions sent by Ulrezaj during the final custscene now work properly. Previosuly, the transmissions did not show any colored circle around Ulrezaj when he talked: this was due to Player 6 being set as "defeated" shortly before the final cutscene.
Mission 6:
- Fixed the incorrect designation of a special Overlord.
- Nydus Parasites (Broodlings) now have 25 HPs instead of 30.
- A choke point in the southern part of the map is now less tricky to navigate.
- Edmund Duke and all Siege Tanks remain invincible during the final cutscene, even if they are switched between normal and siege mode.

You misread the objective: you don't have to unload the units on the beacon, you need to bring a Dropship carrying (i.e. containing) those units to the beacon. A single Dropship of course (not 2 or 3 like in your screenshot), and the units must remain inside of it.

I had a dropship hovering over the beacon with 6 marines 2 ghosts in it for a minute... didn't work, so I brought in 2 more dropships with 6 marines and 2 ghosts in them and it still didn't work.
So I thought "oh I misread it" and began the unload

I think your Dropship wasn't loaded properly. Try it again, it will work.

If you are in doubt, check the various longplays on YouTube.

second mission briefing has quite a few grammar mistakes
also, it was too hard for me. Not surprising though, I think this is the first time you did a terran player vs protoss AI mission. I am extremely bad at defeating protoss as terrans and usually skip missions like that.

Perchance. A tangible proof that online grammar checkers are not entirely reliable.

My advice to you, as a friend, is to skip missions 3, 4, 5 and 6, and just live a happy life. It's not too late to save your sanity and your soul.

OK incredible news, I actually won mission 2. This is the first time ever that I won a terran vs protoss mission without battlecruisers. I had just enough resources to make the win happen using siege tanks and goliaths.

Thankfully now we have chatGPT for this kind of stuff

I briefly checked them out, they are mostly zerg. I should be fine....

You might be surprised to know that the script used is Medium. But of course, the presence of Dark Templars makes it more difficult. Which brings me to what I thought was the most laborious aspect of this scenario: the lack of ComSat Scan. How did you handle the need to coordinate multiple Science Vessels? Also, I would like to know what you think about the story and characterization, since I know that you always take these factors into great consideration, whereas most people ignore them.
Vade retro Satana. Not even if it was necessary in order to save my life. Indeed, the only reason I'm somewhat glad that some grammatical errors slipped in the text is that they are a clear indication that no AI was used at any point during the creation of this campaign.

I didn't say use AI to make the dialog (which would be awful), I said use AI to correct grammar mistakes. This is the kind of stuff that AI was made for doing.

the lack of ComSat Scan. How did you handle the need to coordinate multiple Science Vessels?
Oh that was no problem: I did it the same way as I do when playing as protoss or zerg: send the detector to follow a group of 12 units. The science vessel is essentially a observer without cloak at that price.
None.
Did Missions 3 and 4 now.
Mission 3 was quite challenging but after taking down the 2 smaller zerg bases I was able to use the last remaining troops I had to finish the game. Thankfully it turned out I still had a total of 12 siege tanks and so combined with 8 wraiths and the battlecruizers I was able to get the job done. Had quite a bit of fun with this one
Mission 4 started out fun but it became clear there really aren't enough troops. I very nearly had to use cheats on this one. Also, grammar problems once again. It's frustrating the English in this campaign is notably worse than in your previous 4 campaigns. I ultimately finished it though, it was ok. I think I know who the test subject is going to be...
