Eh, drawing's probably better than spriting, in this case. xP
Making large, good sprites takes a lot of work, and generally involves drawing before-hand anyways ( as that tutorial advocates ) , although lots of 'purists' will do without it ( whoo! ) .

thank you so much for supplying all those different 'flavors', you saved the 'click fill green' step, now all that's left is the detailed character. /sarcasm

I believe that adobe illustrator has something similar to flashs brush tool.

Isn't it piracy?

And guys less talking, more PXL ID's. I would really like to see some more outstanding ones like Sie's.

We were talking about how to make one. How about you stop spamming and you try making one yourself?

I was being sarcastic?
And I'm working on it, I've been experimenting since:

i was just joking >_> one should make his own pix id

I'll start on it :uberw00t:!

EDIT: Nevermind, i sucks at this

I was planning on actually getting some done, but I need more practice first. I basically have no prior experience.

I'm sure people can find sarcasm in such bland sentence. Anywho, sie, what version of Macromedia Flash are you using?

None.

Sep 3 2007, 7:33 am Sie_Sayoka Post #32

flash 8, it shoudlnt make any differnce because i was just using the brush tool to make an outline.

took a few hours to pixelate it... then when i finished i found it was too big for the ID >:[

Sie if you don't mind, can you give us a small tutorial on how you did it on macromedia flash?

None.

Sep 4 2007, 5:43 am Sie_Sayoka Post #34

... it doesnt require a tutorial all i did was draw the outline. you can do the same with a pencil or any brush tool in photoshop or even paint.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
