I'm using SForge not for a very long time so dont mind the stupidity of a question :)
How can i rename switch??? I'm getting very confused with Switch 1, 2, 20, etc. I would like them for example to be Level 1, Level 2 and so on and so forth. Is it my eyes or i can find where to rename them :)

P.S. In original sc editor there is just "push" button on rename switch :P

Many things in starforge were never really finished. Being easily able to rename switches was one of them. If memory recalls you can rename switches, but it's too much of a hastle to deal with. Sorry, I don't remember how though. Don't seriously map make anymore and I use scmdraft 2.

Just go rename the switches in another editor, then go back.

Or use death counters. Its more efficient to use 1 dc with 20 values 1-20 than using 20 switches named level 1-20.

Or just work with switches named Switch 1-255/write down a reference. Isn't THAT hard.

In StarForge you have to edit their string names, but it works just fine in other editors, I'd use SCM Draft if I were you.

Oh_Man -- No APM in chess. Computer just outthinks the human by seeing more moves ahead and more permutations

Oh_Man -- U reckon? Kasparov waa defeated by computer decades ago
[05:47 pm]
NimoStar -- If its any consolation, the human brain would still mop the floor with this bot if it wasn't limited by the mechanical interface
[05:34 pm]
NimoStar -- Well. The bot didn't come up with any new strategy. It just has superhuman micro. Hard to beat that. I reckon even the simplest dedicated chess engines are unbeatable for humans now.

Oops, caught me there, no I haven't. :( I was imagining how the game went. Sorry for that. Watching it now. brb

NimoStar shouted: They were not "Unprepared" that was their fifth loss in a row against the bot. The other replays are also available
that doesn't mean he was prepared. When humans come around with new strategies it often takes weeks until the pros figure out how to shut it down. Oh_Man that's certainly a way more convincing argument for micro being "too good to beat".
