And the main difference between LoL and other AoS's is that LoL is "faster." (or so say the game creators). They took out denying, made the max level easier to obtain, etc, to make it so you get to late game faster.

Couldn't have said this any better. If you want a game with more skill required and hyper competitive, play HoN. If you want something fun to play with friends, DEFINITELY go with LoL.

From what someone said in the HoN thread it's not as competitive as it used to be, which surprised me. Then again little kids can't very well afford to pay, and we all know kids get far more worked up over games than the majority of mature adults.

There are four things I miss from HoN: Denying, R-R-R-R-R-R-R-RAGEQUIT!!, Devourer's Guttling Hook, and the much broader recommended items selection. I rarely use all six, or even three, of the recommended items on LoL, and I wouldn't mind having 1-click accessibility to a broader range of items, like consumables in the beginning or Hextech Gunblade for Nasus.

I hated denying back in DotA. I just really couldn't take a game seriously whenever the main objective for the first part of the game was to kill your own units. I'd much rather spank an enemy champion then my own minions, and it's for that exact reason that I hate Gangplank.

I wish they would implement a custom loadout recommended items sort of thing, where you could choose which six items you usually buy and have them displayed instead of what the creators think is good. It's a bit annoying to thumb through the shop trying to find the item you are looking for, plus, as we all know:

I've been trying out AP on random characters, its pretty fun. AP rammus, yi, shen, gragas, and nidalee. Its pretty fun but I really want to try out AP shaco, might buy him.

I've been seeing TONS of ap sivirs, is this viable? Her only ap spell is boomerange, but her boomerang still does pretty nice damage and it doesn't require her to be in close range.

I like Mundo... He does dominate TT, but uhh... no on plays that shitty map.

Ap shen is awesome, since his shied blocks so much damage. Also AP Sivir is pretty viable, but you become like Ryze, once you cast Boomerang you can't really do anything else. A hybrid build has a bit better punch to it.

So Echo is the greatest and most hilarious LoL troll I've ever seen. He really knows how to stick it to 'em when we lose.

Yeah, probably. He wasn't terrible, but he did miss some crucial fights.

I should probably get my level 23 account to 30 first, but I'm tired of playing Malzahar only.
