Master has given Dobby a doctorate! Dobby is free!

So, Aristo, did you ever get a warning?

You leave the area, you lose. Which computer game doesn't work that way? I don't see that as unfair.

Also 2 people already died through extreme bad luck while trying to leave the area if that wasn't warning enough then I don't know what is.

The difference is that Aristocrat was shoved out of bounds by someone else; he didn't leave intentionally. He wandered around with no problem for a few turns, but then tried to get back into the game's bounds, and that's when Azrael killed him. The fence = death; outside of the fence seems to be no real challenge.

Only warned when I was told that the fence was too wet to get a good handhold on when I first tried to climb it; not when I got near thr square that killed me.

Uh ok, didn't follow the game that thoroughly. Then it's lame. But maybe he already triggered his death when he was shoved outside, Az just waited for a good opportunity to let him die. Like throwing someone over the fence counts as killing him. Sumo anyone? :awesome:

I will remain AFK for an indefinite amount of time, Mondays and Wednesdays excepted. I've sealed myself off in the bunker which I've determined is absolutely secure. I don't foresee any problems. If any murders happen during turns that do not occur on Monday or Wednesday, then I am likely innocent. The "Last Online" part of my profile can be used to verify my inactivity.

Wow this game is ending very fast.

Quote from EzTerix
Had no idea why you guys are making it so complicated xD. I assumed from 3 actions I would make about 3 sentences.

did anyone post a page long of if's? xD
Quote from name:Tuxedo-Templar
Yeah, I've decided I'm going to intentionally constrain the conditional complexity of my actions for that reason. I could literally end up doing something like that if I let myself. :P

LOL YOU FAIL. You made huge scripts that nobody uses.

Yeah well I took that extra time thinking people would benefit from it. Silly me.

I'm glad the killer is going to win. He definitely deserves it. I'm rotfling right now at all the past strategies such as lynching. Right now we are down to the 3 last people that would have been in the bottom on our "to lynch list". I also lulz at the "free for all kill everyone you meet" strategy since the killer has an advantage in every encounter. We probably would have dwindled down even faster with less information about the map.

I say those two strategies should be crumbled and thrown into the trash for any future TKG's

Sep 21 2010, 12:13 am The Starport Post #1617

Lynching would work if we had empirical evidence. I failed to garner time or interest for the pursuit of that this game, personally. That might have been a mistake, though.

Sep 21 2010, 12:24 am EzTerix Post #1618

In this game we make up evidence based on suspicions, which is useless. If the killer doesn't want to make a move he doesn't have to and we could go on waiting until we start killing eachother for whatever reasons.

If we just look over this game alone all suspicions put on me as the killer were useless, but someone just decided to go on a hunting mission anyway :P

An artist's depiction of an Extended Unit Death

Strategy: We all stay in one room, we pick one person to kill, then that person gets to pick the next person to kill until the killer is dead.

I actually told Nasus Poison and Wing early into the game that I suspected Tux for some reason, but I assumed it was because he was suspecting me.

Sep 21 2010, 1:09 am The Starport Post #1620

Which without empirical evidence and no way for the killer to non-suicidally reveal himself will be... wait. Someone do the maths on that and figure what the odds are of the killer eventually being killed from that (before at most 2 non-killers are left alive, I mean).

That is, what are the odds of the killer dying in this scenario before too few people are left alive to offer a good chance of winning?
