Well, let arkla live, since he's not blatantly ignoring the game. Wouldn't be fair to kill him off just because something's keeping him from SEN.

Actually it would. If someone says they're going to do something and they don't do it, that's kinda rude. In a game implicitly about keeping your arse alive, I don't think minimum responsibility about your own self preservation is unfair.

Though technically we're each 100% responsible for our fates here anyway, and there's no moral judge at all for anything except failing to survive, perhaps.




Edit: I wouldn't doubt Azrael would announce in the epilogue that any murdering survivors later go to jail for homicide, though.

Okay, just for clarity, you guys want me to kill arkla? I can even say it was in defense, because he viciously murdered Viet.

I took out Viet first because he's been active about every other day on this site. It's not like he could have completely forgotten that he signed up for this game, either, because he would get a PM from Azrael each turn saying he's zoned out.

Roy, just finish it. Unless you plan on using a hypnotized person to make a voice-activated trap component or something silly like that, his every living breath is just an insult to the rest of us.


@David: There's a few possible things wrong with that approach:

1. If the killer is patient, uncommitted, or otherwise just in it for the lulz, they could keep the game going indefinitely rather than giving us physical clues. Define a few pre-made gambits, remember to spend 2 minutes to PM Azrael every 24 hours or so, and they could just wait us out. Between 9 other increasingly impatient players, it's likely someone will start doing his job for him.
   
2. Even if we do eventually identify the killer, it is possible that this will take a while still, allowing him to get better armed and wiser with his plan. If not enough of us are alive by then, he may still have a good chance at winning.
   
3. There's a chance we may not find enough evidence to exactly identify the killer... to say nothing of a motive.
   

I'm willing to wait until we've finished the recollections, diary, and mansion exploration, but otherwise we may have to bring this down to a lynch vote or something. Hopefully we can at least confirm a few innocent people from recollections and such, first.
