Ok, I'm making several 'waves' of attacks from zerg forces.

Wave 1 - 5 creation Trigger:
Trigger
Players

  • zombies
  • Conditions

  • Countdown timer is exactly 0 game seconds
  • wave 1 - 5 is set
  • Actions

  • modify countdown timer: set to 40 seconds
  • create 1 zergling at ones for player 8
  • wait 60 milliseconds
  • create lings
  • wait 60 milliseconds
  • order lings to attack
  • Preserve Trigger



  • Here's how I'm swapping to a next wave:


    Trigger
    Players

  • Humans
  • Conditions

  • Wave 1 - 5 is set.
  • Player 8 brings at least 6 men to 'ones'
  • Actions

  • Wait for 200 milliseconds
  • Clear Wave 1 - 5
  • Kill all men for Player 5
  • Modify Countdown Timer: Set to 0 seconds
  • Display for current player: Waves 6 - 10!
  • Wait for 100 milliseconds
  • Set Wave 6 - 10



  • Here's the next wave trigger:
    Trigger
    Players

  • zombies
  • Conditions

  • Countdown timer is exactly 0 game seconds
  • wave 6 - 10 is set
  • Actions

  • modify countdown timer: set to 60 seconds
  • create 1 zergling at ones for player 8
  • wait 60 milliseconds
  • create lings

  • wait 60 milliseconds
  • order lings to attack
  • order hydra's to attack
  • Preserve Trigger


  • The next wave trigger never goes off and I don't know why..can someone help?

    You won't be bring the 6 men to ones. Is the location big enough? Is there a player in the Humans slot?

    I use the bring to detect how many of a unit I have in a certain location. The location is definitely large enough, and it did used to show the text before & now it doesn't.
    There is a player in the humans slot, me.

    OK so 5 waves go through, then nothing more happens?

    No, it keeps going, it's just that it doesn't do the next set of waves. Basically, the first 5 waves keep repeating on and on.

    Hmm, that's very odd. Make sure that you have the correct switches in the triggers? Maybe post the map.

    I managed to fix it. It was another trigger's wait that messed it up.
