LOL you can do that without modding ;o
But yeah, this topic is a bit silly. Shall I explain it, or no?

You have a bunch of reavers constantly firing(there are other more conservative methods, but this is the simplest) and you constantly move the scarabs from where they're firing to where you want them. To make them attack, run the Random Suicide Missions AI script for the computer who owns them, Junk Yard Dog also somewhat works(not as well).

hi, umm sorry i asked in the shoutbox first and someone told me i had to post a topic here :S, anyways,
Yea but if i use the Junk Yard Dog thing, the scarabs don't explote. they just go crazy until they die. and when i use the. random suicide mision ai. makes the scarabs to run to the enemy but they dont explote netheir. they damage the enemy constantly, which is 2 much. so... could u explain me another method pls?

If you want them to explode on a target, you first need to make sure the reavers are owned by a computer player. Then, have them constantly attacking a target, and move the scarabs out and to where you want them to go. If you want to order the scarbas around, run the AI script "set generic command target" at a location that is where you want the scarabs to go, then run (i think it's this one) the ai script "make these units patrol".

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.
My Scarab Spell experimental Map should help you.Just don't move the location on the unit. Create a reaver for P2 whenever you need a scarab. Make sure that you only have 1 enemy. Else the used ai script will create maybe unwanted results.
Junkyard dog:
- scarabs will ?randonly? attack a unit. But mostly they won't.
set generic command target + make these units patrol:
- units will patrol to the command target area and attack units
random suicide mission:
- units will run around and attack the nearest unit around which belongs to a specific enemy:
- 1. chose a random enemy that has at least 1 attackable unit
- 2. pick a random attackable unit on the map
- 3. order 1 unit to attack that unit
- 4. repeat 1-3 for every effected unit
strategic suicide mission:
- units will attack some strategic enemy building on the map
If you preserve the suicide missions with hypertriggers: scarabs won't explode and act as the fastest attacking unit ingame.
OMG yees

thanks, i was using hypertrigger, thats why they werent exploting

thanks a lot <3

I haven't chacked your map, but I assume you think this because the location in which you run JYD is too large - scarabs tend to ignore enemies that are within that location. I may check your map later today.
