Hey guys I need some help finding the cooldown rates of Zeratul and Fenix. I found the Zealot's and Dark Templar's, but they are different than the heroes aren't they?

Thanks!

Starcraft wiki says Fenix has a cooldown of 22 and Zeratul has a cooldown of 30, I'm not sure if that's what you were looking for.

There is a lot of different things between regular units and heroes.

Fenix dragoon attacks faster than dragoon
Zeratul walk slower than dark templars
Two of many other differences.

Get a stopwatch, put a zeratul in a map along with a 9999hp building, and count how many attacks he does in 2 minutes...

4. Run simple tests yourself. If it takes less than two minutes to make an example map and find your answer, do that instead of posting.
3. Thou shalt use the Wiki *, Search, and Google. You might find your answer before posting and thus not have to open a topic.

It's a different forum, and I never dropped it in the wiki, but whatever.

I just recommend download DATEdit. Regardless if you mod or not, it has statistics that are easily accessible.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
