Mirage of Blades is too fricking rigged. It also lags like hell.

Let's try to make reasonable bosses instead of ones that kill you within 2 seconds no matter what you do.

Oh, I forgot to say "Right click to boost". :><:

Also, I don't really consider the two tornadoes to be real bosses; they were mostly just experiments with rotating panels (that look really fucking cool).

Have you increased the rank to 100 in the Options menu? :P
Does that make them more difficult or what?

Here is some site i found with a wiki on it and a battlecruiser.
Edit: If you look around there are some other cool files.

Higher ranks increase speed, projectiles, and probably health. They also get bigger damaging explosions when they die.

Rank 50= 2x projectiles
Rank 100= 3x projectiles

Also, Corbo, try Clock Prison Rank Anything without dying.

Done to all of that.
I still don't die before eating them :P

What I can tell is that it doesn't increase health. Just number of projectiles and the rate of which they are fired.

fuck you all

I made a really responsive enemy in only 15 minutes :D . It tries to ram the player my facing him/her and launching all its thrusters >:D . I like the detach action a lot as well.

We should create SEN enemy together with an unstoppable event-oriented AI along with a "Try" file.

As in a whole community project?

Could work; the files are tiny, so it would be easy to pass around. I'm just not sure how we'd make it epic, particularly since there's a total part limit (somewhere around 500).

EDIT: Maybe we could each make a boss (under X parts), and then someone could copy/paste all of them into one file and plug them into a deploy core for epic SEN boss rush/raep ala this?

How do you make a "try" or clipboard file?

Try files: Uncertain, but readme_try_eng.txt should help.

Clipboard: Copy parts.

Its pretty easy to make a "try" file. We could make something like "Escape from SEN City" and have tons of custom - event oriented ships try to make the user give up with a timer as well :P

I still have no clue how to do either. :( To be specific, I don't know how to create a try file.

I got a bunch of fighters/minibosses to use.

Hmm, I guess I could create a try file where people just stick in their ships into the appropriate level.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
