how do i make a mineral number stay the same forever like if it was 20 minerals and i mine which suppose to subtart 8 but it still remain at 20...does anyone know how to do that?

And how do you detect the amount of minerals in a mineral field?
such as:

resource amount at location x is 100
action:
some action
