Hi! Is there a similar version of map limits for Starcraft Remastered?

I've been looking on the forum and on various other sites, but I couldn't find anything. I think I have seen something similar in the past, but I can't seem to find it anymore.

None.

The Curious

The number of locations is the same.
String space is practically unlimited, although I think the amount of strings is still capped at 1024?
I think the sprite doodad limit is gone, but maybe there's another, higher one.

The rest, I have no idea about.

Trial and error... mostly error.

When you say string space are you referring to the 65k byte string limit? I hit this limit in my map and SCMDraft2 won’t allow me to save it

The Curious

After 1.23.2 the 65K string limit was lifted, but going past it naturally makes the map incompatible with prior versions. It might not also be available in all versions of SCMDraft.

Yup, I had to download an Alpha version of SCMD2 in order to exceed the 65k and continue updating my map. Kind of weird that the latest public release doesn’t have support for 65k+

Beats me. I've been using this feature since its inception and, barring one bug that was in the game, not editor - so duly reported to Blizzard and fixed in a subsequent update - there was never any issue.

Oh_Man -- whereas just "press X to get 50 health back" is pretty mindless

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value

Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius
