Mineral nothing, its a nothing map where you must dig through resources in order to reach each other or the center. In the center of the map are Vespene geysers which are essential for advanced structures and upgrades and also the creation of air units. 4 players. Working on 8 player but seems to not work, probs engine limitation of sorts. Also pick Terran since others kinda suck on this but welcome to try.

I'm pretty sure Warcraft 2 had maps with a similar context (trees instead of minerals), and there was also a map where you had to go through sheep(s) instead

Im busy also refining this map aswell checking what works what doesn't make it more interesting, etc. Didn't they had those maps tbh but they probs didnt work very well, or where very good. Was thinking of making a warcraft 3 map veration
