The unused buildings all use the same graphic (the scout graphic, specifically). There is no way to get them to crash without modding.

I know you have to mod the unused buildings but idk what you need to do so they can work like buildings

I was only posting features from the public beta (or slightly earlier). Unused buildings don't really have any image script or unit/order requirements/limitations to go with it, since most of that data has been removed.

Heinermann, I need help with turning on debugging/developer mode in StarCraft 1 Beta. I wrote you a personal message with details, I am writing here if you do not notice my message.

P.S. I was able to launch a beta, server emulator, client emulator and create a match, there will be no questions how to find a beta version.

According to my Starcraft game manual (still have that lovely thing), that refer to an old version on many points, the Wraith initially was anti-air only, and the burst laser upgrade was to enable the anti-ground attack.
