readabook -- jack
[2017-4-09. : 3:20 am]
Voyager7456 -- I booked my own replacement connections and thus only spent one day living in the airport.
[2017-4-09. : 3:19 am]
Voyager7456 -- But it probably would have been if I had relied on those fuckers to get me out.

Voyager7456 -- Corbo
Corbo shouted: And seeing how mcdonalds is like really popular in there and you guys have them in like every corner and like to buy these on a daily basis i am actually surprised you people aren't just randomly dropping dead in the thousands
lil-Inferno
lil-Inferno shouted: Corbo People are randomly dropping dead in the thousands

People are randomly dropping dead in the thousands
[2017-4-09. : 2:56 am]
Dem0n -- Whenever I get a McMuffin it's like a normal muffin with an egg on it w/e
[2017-4-09. : 2:56 am]
Dem0n -- yours is probably much more shitty LMAO
[2017-4-09. : 2:50 am]
Corbo -- And seeing how mcdonalds is like really popular in there and you guys have them in like every corner and like to buy these on a daily basis i am actually surprised you people aren't just randomly dropping dead in the thousands
[2017-4-09. : 2:48 am]
Corbo -- Rip like two months of gains imo
[2017-4-09. : 2:48 am]
Corbo -- How can anyone eat that? It was like soaking in oil and they gave me this fried oily mass that they swore to me passionately that it was a hashbrown
[2017-4-09. : 2:47 am]
Corbo -- Those things are disgusting
[2017-4-09. : 2:46 am]
Corbo -- I bought a mcmuffin today
[2017-4-09. : 2:17 am]
Moose -- Yeah, that's literally TrigEdit++ LMAO
[2017-4-09. : 2:11 am]
jjf28 -- oh btw, trgk decompiled SCMD's plugin system, it was ~exclusively for triggers and you can find his work.. somewhere
[2017-4-09. : 2:10 am]
jjf28 -- and requires a message handler in the target program which is a pretty gross amount of work if it wasn't already a win32api program
[2017-4-09. : 2:08 am]
jjf28 -- yeah I passed up shared memory, built a working system with windows messages https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms649011(v=vs.85).aspx but that's ofc windows specific and can't be easily extended to work across networks
[2017-4-09. : 2:05 am]
Moose -- Ya, sockets good AF for IPC, shared memory probs a disaster LMAO
[2017-4-09. : 2:02 am]
jjf28 -- back when I first wrote it I looked into shared memory and the windows API and all... and that was all the wrong direction, can just do a network stream and set addresses to localhost
[2017-4-09. : 2:00 am]
jjf28 -- speaking of... I really need to rewrite in the plugin code as a socket
[2017-4-09. : 1:50 am]
Zoan -- it literally generates like 200 triggers taking care of the nitty gritty so all you gotta type in is "play_song(5)"
[2017-4-09. : 1:49 am]
Zoan -- whenver you switch to a new song
[2017-4-09. : 1:49 am]
Zoan -- Holy shit I totally forgot, I also spent like 3 days adding a function which takes in a set of WAVs, splits them up into n pieces, makes a copy of those pieces except they fade out, and then BOOM you have a music player which fades out the last song
[2017-4-09. : 1:47 am]
Zoan -- 'alpha version'*
[2017-4-09. : 1:47 am]
Zoan -- I'll upload a 'alpha or something to staredit tonight or tomorrow
[2017-4-09. : 1:45 am]
jjf28 -- Mint might even be easier, but I dunno jack about it and doubt it's documented :P
[2017-4-09. : 1:44 am]
Zoan -- dude, that would be sick. I would definitely actually finish this thing 100% to make something like that
[2017-4-09. : 1:44 am]
jjf28 -- if you want I can add something similar or help you leverage Mapping Core so you can output from your program to a map
[2017-4-09. : 1:44 am]
Zoan -- ;o what does that mean
[2017-4-09. : 1:43 am]
jjf28 -- I did build a little in-editor compiler for cecil's triggering language which invokes his program from command line https://puu.sh/ve3Zt/6709af23a5.jpg
[2017-4-09. : 1:43 am]
Zoan -- then it would autocomplete stuff like 'com' to 'command'
[2017-4-09. : 1:42 am]
Zoan -- Mini Moose 2707
Mini Moose 2707 shouted: IDK, if you could leverage an existing programmable autocomplete, then it's w/e
Ya I can just make a .xml file for Notepad++
[2017-4-09. : 1:42 am]
Moose -- Yeah, I mean it's not like my scripts get around needing to copy/paste LMAO
[2017-4-09. : 1:42 am]
Zoan -- but I think the copy-paste method isn't that bad tho
[2017-4-09. : 1:41 am]
Zoan -- no copy-pasting required
[2017-4-09. : 1:41 am]
Zoan -- I wanna know how oreo triggers got it to just append the output directly into the map
[2017-4-09. : 1:40 am]
Moose -- Zoan
Zoan shouted: I mean, it generates triggers and outputs it to a .txt which you copy paste onto the end of ur map's triggers
Ya, but that's like ten times as much effort as :cecil: wants to put in
[2017-4-09. : 1:39 am]
Moose -- Ya, my issue is that I get cranky because I actually know how to use text generators and macros, so I'm probably terrible for this LMAO
[2017-4-09. : 1:39 am]
Zoan -- I mean, it generates triggers and outputs it to a .txt which you copy paste onto the end of ur map's triggers
[2017-4-09. : 1:38 am]
jjf28 -- the issue with triggering languages imo is that they're one way and have no back-and-fourth with the map; can't open something that exists and start de-compiling logic (and save your progress as you go) or anything, and the suggestions and features are limited by their inability to read and interact with the map (only Mint/Oreos actually tackled this AFAIK)
[2017-4-09. : 1:38 am]
Zoan -- lul
[2017-4-09. : 1:38 am]
Moose -- Actually, since SI here, we should bop him into telling us how to actually make SCMD2 plugins LMAO
[2017-4-09. : 1:38 am]
Moose -- IDK, if you could leverage an existing programmable autocomplete, then it's w/e
[2017-4-09. : 1:37 am]
Zoan -- wait what are you talking about?
[2017-4-09. : 1:36 am]
Zoan -- read in triggers and convert it to this thing's code?
[2017-4-09. : 1:36 am]
Zoan -- like
[2017-4-09. : 1:35 am]
Moose -- Is it smart enough to read imports for possible completions?
[2017-4-09. : 1:35 am]
Zoan -- that'd be dope
[2017-4-09. : 1:35 am]
Zoan -- anyway I wonder if I could get something working in Notepad++ so that it autocompletes the function names
[2017-4-09. : 1:34 am]
Zoan -- Geany does it on linux I know
[2017-4-09. : 1:34 am]
Moose -- Though I'm sure there's some editor on Linux that does that XD
[2017-4-09. : 1:34 am]
Zoan -- oh lul
[2017-4-09. : 1:34 am]
Moose -- No, I don't use Notepad++ LMAO
[2017-4-09. : 1:33 am]
Zoan -- like if I type ran it autocompletes it to "range"
[2017-4-09. : 1:33 am]
Zoan -- you know how in notepad++, it autocompletes functions built into Python or w.e language ur typing in
[2017-4-09. : 1:33 am]
Zoan -- :O hey moose
[2017-4-09. : 1:32 am]
Moose -- Like, just having autocomplete in TrigEdit++ excited me more than any of the trigger languages ever did. (Even though it was shitty (but maybe isn't shitty on Windows IDK??))
[2017-4-09. : 1:30 am]
Moose -- What I'd really look into is a trigger IDE of some kind, so I know what my lazy typing will and won't break because I forget a square bracket or a quote or some shit as I go.
[2017-4-09. : 1:29 am]
Zoan -- or same thing if you type zergling.command()
[2017-4-09. : 1:28 am]
Zoan -- oh yea it also allows for super lazy writing, like typing in "command("Zerg Zergling")" autofills the rest to command("Current Player", "Zerg Zergling", "At least", 1)
[2017-4-09. : 1:27 am]
Moose -- w/e, trigger languages a dime a dozen by now LMAO
[2017-4-09. : 1:26 am]
Zoan -- etc.
[2017-4-09. : 1:25 am]
Zoan -- nice syntax (imo) so you type like T( P=["Player 1"], C=["Conditions"], A=["Actions"] )
[2017-4-09. : 1:23 am]
Zoan -- a 'discritizer' operation you can add to triggers which make them execute once whenever the conditions initially become true
[2017-4-09. : 1:21 am]
Zoan -- custom conditions like "burrowed("Zerg Zergling", "Location 0")"
[2017-4-09. : 1:21 am]
Zoan -- It's dope in that it allows addition of deathcounter, and/or/not statements in conditions
[2017-4-09. : 1:20 am]
Zoan -- its like 80% done. Would anyone try it out if I finished it?
