[2018-7-23. : 7:19 pm]
jjf28 -- wait wut?
[2018-7-23. : 7:14 pm]
Wormer -- map open doesn't work? :(
[2018-7-23. : 7:14 pm]
Wormer -- that's not a problem since I'm not looking for a regular trigger editor, but what will happen if I make some invalid action/contidion that way? how trigger editor will handle it?
[2018-7-23. : 7:06 pm]
jjf28 -- I don't have those working with the regular trigger editor yet (I couldn't find an easy way since I insta-update the whole trigger and don't cache the fact that it's a custom condition/action, I'll do something about it at some point); it allows string or numeric input
[2018-7-23. : 7:04 pm]
Wormer -- Should I see Text Conditions/Actions rather than classic ones for the right parameters?
[2018-7-23. : 7:02 pm]
jjf28 -- I had actually input it like this https://puu.sh/B1O0r/b4e655308c.png it just reads it back funny, it follows the condition/action struct here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1rDYKxQl8QDk8E5TTxDQq6NeIr_mj6opFN4Hre0q254s/pub?gid=0#
[2018-7-23. : 7:02 pm]
Wormer -- the only complication with numeric parameters are text strings, does it allow to input a string as param1 and param2 for actions?
[2018-7-23. : 7:01 pm]
Wormer -- Hey, makes ME wonder why didn't I look your way earlier
[2018-7-23. : 7:00 pm]
Wormer -- I was wondering why Location 0 didn't work in my test map :P
[2018-7-23. : 7:00 pm]
jjf28 -- it should work with the latest vers
[2018-7-23. : 7:00 pm]
jjf28 -- no location is when 0 is used, the first actual location is "1"
[2018-7-23. : 6:59 pm]
Wormer -- oh good, does it work with the latest version?
[2018-7-23. : 6:59 pm]
Wormer -- what means "no location" ? :hurr:
[2018-7-23. : 6:59 pm]
jjf28 -- all the fields can be substituted for numbers
[2018-7-23. : 6:59 pm]
Wormer -- oh yea srrry :-)
[2018-7-23. : 6:58 pm]
jjf28 -- Chkdraft*, yea I had something like that https://puu.sh/B1NUt/263cd42fa3.png
[2018-7-23. : 6:56 pm]
Wormer -- I would be very happy with Chkedit if it could recognize triggers formed only with Raw Condition() and Raw Action()
[2018-7-23. : 6:54 pm]
Wormer -- do you have anything like that in Chkedit?
[2018-7-23. : 6:53 pm]
Wormer -- *presented back to user
[2018-7-23. : 6:52 pm]
Wormer -- as a side effect some ill-formed actions and conditions can be brought back that way
[2018-7-23. : 6:52 pm]
Wormer -- hi jjf28! no need to get it back :-) needed for input only
[2018-7-23. : 6:51 pm]
jjf28 -- "How hard is it to teach text trigger editor recognize a condition Raw Condition() and action Raw Action() of the following type:" Input is easy, reading it back to the user is harder

O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- Lanthanide
Lanthanide shouted: FaRTy1billion pretty sure that's modding, rather than just map making

[2018-7-21. : 8:27 pm]
NudeRaider -- FaRTy1billion
FaRTy1billion shouted: oh, none of these say 98
ya, that was 5-10 years before that :P
[2018-7-21. : 7:51 pm]
KrayZee -- Blizzard should let us make maps for Overwatch. WatchEditor or whatever
[2018-7-21. : 7:45 pm]
Lanthanide -- maybe I am right after all, found this description on another site: "This is probably the most Warcraft editor in circulation. The reason being that it is easy to use allows you to easily create bridges, caves, super units and suicide stealth bombing sheep! (hereby referred to as the Black Sheep). Just use the map editor which came with Warcraft to create the terrain (Or use that nifty tool Warmaker) then load the pud into War2xed to start adding those sheep."
[2018-7-21. : 7:43 pm]
Lanthanide -- anyway, I always used puddraft, and I'd be surprised if there's stuff that it can't do
[2018-7-21. : 7:43 pm]
Lanthanide -- hmm, looks like War2xed is a map editor
[2018-7-21. : 7:41 pm]
Lanthanide -- FaRTy1billion
FaRTy1billion shouted: I already have war2xed 5.51, which this says is the best
pretty sure that's modding, rather than just map making
[2018-7-21. : 7:40 pm]
Lanthanide -- NudeRaider
NudeRaider shouted: FaRTy1billion oldest OS I used was either DOS 3 or 5. Not sure anymore. Oldest Windows was 3.1. Never saw 1 or 2. Those were bad anyway. Had some 3rd party DOS-based gui thing on my old 386. Was definitely better than what I heard of Windows.

[2018-7-21. : 7:40 pm]
jjf28 -- war files gonna be an old meme pretty soon
[2018-7-21. : 7:40 pm]

[2018-7-21. : 7:03 pm]
