[2014-10-14. : 5:58 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- And then by the time I realize "Goddamn, I'm sitting in like a 120 hotbox", the air conditioner will have been on long enough to start reducing the temperature[2014-10-14. : 5:57 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- At my work they actually keep it at like 70 or something, and I find that to be way too cold. In the summer I like leaving work and then sitting in the car after it has been baking in the sun, because the cold is deep in my skin and I can feel the extreme heat slowly seeping in and replacing the cold.[2014-10-14. : 5:51 pm]  Generalpie -- I'm sure it could be filed under "Medical Mystery" how I can be from Texas and not like the heat.[2014-10-14. : 5:50 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I guess not inside, though. That doesn't seem to help in the winter D:[2014-10-14. : 5:36 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I think it's because my room is on a corner, and this is an old house so it has shitty insulation[2014-10-14. : 5:35 pm] Generalpie -- My room has the only window in the whole house that faces East, so I wake up earlier and to hotter temperatures than the rest of the house[2014-10-14. : 5:32 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I like woke up shivering and not wanting to get out of bed, so then I step out of my room thinking like "IT'S SO GODDAMN COLD, WHY ISN'T THE HEATER ON? I CLEANED IT/TURNED IT ON YESTERDAY.", but as soon as I opened my door it's warm outside of my room.[2014-10-14. : 5:31 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I just turned the heater on anyway, and now my room isn't like icy cold. [2014-10-14. : 5:31 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- oh, the problem is while the rest of the house is comfortable (doesn't need AC or heater on), my room will fluctuate between extremely hot and extremely cold.[2014-10-14. : 5:30 pm] Generalpie -- You should have a vent in your room, try sliding it shut if it's the source of your ire[2014-10-14. : 5:27 pm] Generalpie -- You could either slide them shut, which depending on your proximity to the ACU, could either help, or do nothing[2014-10-14. : 5:27 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I do that, but I don't know if my roommates would like me adjusting their vents while they are away or sleeping.
