Put on 3 jackets, 14 blankets, sit over a heater vent, shiver and cry until warm (not guaranteed to happen -- especially when the vent turns off). Too hot? [2014-10-14. : 5:58 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- And then by the time I realize "Goddamn, I'm sitting in like a 120 hotbox", the air conditioner will have been on long enough to start reducing the temperature[2014-10-14. : 5:57 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- At my work they actually keep it at like 70 or something, and I find that to be way too cold. In the summer I like leaving work and then sitting in the car after it has been baking in the sun, because the cold is deep in my skin and I can feel the extreme heat slowly seeping in and replacing the cold.[2014-10-14. : 5:51 pm] Generalpie -- I'm sure it could be filed under "Medical Mystery" how I can be from Texas and not like the heat.[2014-10-14. : 5:50 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I guess not inside, though. Inside 70s are fine since the air is still and I can put a jacket or whatever on if needed.[2014-10-14. : 5:49 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I'd much rather it be like high 90s than even low 70s. [2014-10-14. : 5:48 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I've been complaining about it not being summer anymore since August. xD[2014-10-14. : 5:42 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I could just get a space heater .. that might be cheaper than running the whole furnace for just my room. xD[2014-10-14. : 5:41 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- also it's a southwest corner, so in the summer it gets hot because the sun hits it all day. That doesn't seem to help in the winter D:[2014-10-14. : 5:36 pm] O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I think it's because my room is on a corner, and this is an old house so it has shitty insulation |
