Who gives you the randomly generated identifier? Whoever does knows what you have voted. And, how do you check the identifiers on the list are associated to real people? IDK, have a script use generate it when you vote and send it via SSL. You can't, but if you hear candidate A got X votes and candidate B got Y votes today, it's not like you can verify that anyway. Everyone gets a randomly generated identifier but anyone can go look at the big list of identifiers to votes. Problem here is how you make it anonymous. Who gives you the randomly generated identifier? Whoever does knows what you have voted. And, how do you check the identifiers on the list are associated to real people? |
