Reading from the things you write it'd have been cheaper if you had gone to a country were education was free (or really cheap). Like, if you had come to El Salvador I estimate you'd have spent 50k (very much likely less) and you'd have a 5 year university degree (not an stupid bachelor degree) and a 2 year master's degree. And this is accounting for renting in a decent place, food and partying twice a week. It's roughly double of what I have spent because I had no rent to pay. Now, you'll say, but Corbo! You live in a third world country! How good could your education be! To that I'll answer that while there is free education in El Salvador (which is actually a really competitive university in latinamerica) there are also really good private universities (that would seem relatively inexpensive to you) that are even more so competitive.
