And yes, regrettably, my example was basic OOP methodology. your example was specifically working against maintainability --> it's bad OOP, I know of no generic OOP rule that states classes must wrap all superclass methods; unless your compiler is just terrible and uses pointers to each superclasse rather than compiling the inheritence tree into one struct |
