File Description
Last version by trgk (before he "retired" I guess) this was the original forum post from 2014
This is the version that I use. It is extremely stable, from what I can tell.
TEP supports all valid Lua constructs/syntax.
You can additionally access original unit names (eg "Terran Marine" -> "U.B.C.S Commando", you can access the unit using both strings).

It supersedes all earlier versions I think (though no longer has the fancy regex find and replace from 0.06)
The autocomplete is modified (from 0.06): less options displayed at once, but otherwise better.
More programming functions are added (accessible via autocomplete).
The only issue/bug still left that I have found, is that non-ASCII characters basically don't work. (won't compile, and also won't display if the map was like that in the first place)
Supports direct read/write to memory offset (think EUD), much like recent SCMD versions. No custom functions however.

Syntax:
SetMemory(offset[hex], modtype[add/subtract/etc], number[hex|dec])

There are later forks by other Koreans on their NAVER cafe (I don't have access).
TEP 1.0 for example saves the source code as a .lua into the scx I believe, so that you don't have to
constantly go back and forth between Notepad++ and TEP.

NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT USE SCMD 0.9.x WITH TEP (Any version of TEP, any version of SCMD).
SCMD transitioned its ABI from C to C++, and despite attempts to get the new interfacing between TEP and SCMD working, it is very buggy.
Guaranteed to corrupt your string section at the very least if you use it enough.

I recommend SI's last 0.8.x version (has CTRL + MOUSE_WHEEL zoom, though the way it's done sucks).
It also has that fancy coloured system log in the bottom, a-la 0.9.x (the font is smaller).
And ironically, Units Properties box that shows all unit IDs on the map (SI has mentioned this before in the past).
The Unit IDs dialogue is unfinished. (mostly works, has bugs)
You will need the 1.16 MPQs
You can use this (tool for switching easily between pre-1.17 versions).
And here is the SCMD version I was talking about (Old logs from the site; find the one from 2010 labelled "Starcraft II Beta start, and newest scmdraft version")

UndeadStar -- I wonder if that's what happened to me. A returned product (screen) was "officially lost" for a while before being found and refunded. Maybe it would have remained "lost" if I didn't communicate?
