File Description
Okay guys, this being my first ever UMS map, I'm expection you guys to go slightly easier on me (which i doubt you will :P). But anyways, a little bit about my map.

-You have to pick 1 of 4 units in the beginning, ghost (sniper rifle), marine (battle rifle), vulture (brute shot) or fire bat (shotgun)
-Once all units are picked, a 60 second timer is activated. Once 60 seconds are up, the units come storming into the base. If 5 of them reach your base, you lose! It gets tougher each time.
-Every round grant you 2 minerals, which you use for upgrading armor or firepower, or both.
-On round 7, your units is made stronger and has more HP. You'll need it.

It's still in beta, I'm finding more things that work and that don't work.

Beta .01= First Release
Beta .02= Fixed a bug that made hunter killers (hunters) spawn on round 2
Beta .03= Fixed Marine glitch that caused the choose not to disappear when you select marine.
Beta .04= Fixed zergling (grunt) health, several tests with 5 players could not pass round 2.
Beta .05= Added goliath for banning/kicking players who are being asses.
Beta .06= Changed the amount of enemy spawns from 1 to 3, giving more variety.
Beta .07= Added mission briefing.
Beta .08= Changed the area size of the spawn, making it harder to lose

On a side note, this map only opens properly if you have a map editor like X-tra editor special, or star forge, etc.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?
