File Description
This map is a combination of Spawn Defence - Luck Defence - Desert Strike.

How to Play-
-Spawn Units for More Income (Gas) as always located in middle upper section
-You can Build Probes located in middle section
-You can also Build Geysers to Twice the Outcome (Minerals) but Wait is Needed for Excess Mining
-Upgrade your Spawns located in the lower section (Ex. Speed - Spells)
-Build Supply Depots for Normal Bunkers - Build Academies for Hero Bunkers
-If you get 3 - 4 Same Units for a Bunker you get Luck (Extra Money)
-You can also Earn Extra Money by Spawning 4 Specific Units for Combos (Orders does not Matter)
-Build Buildings to send "Desert Strike" Units when you are Spawning Next and the Timer is 0
-Units in Round Brackets are Tech Units that you are Able to Build Next
-Units for Square Brackets are Tech Units for Add-ons
-Remeber to Upgrade your Bunker Units with Engineering Bay
-Build Turrets for Detection
-When you Lose all of your Lives (Shields) and their Units get to the End they will Attack you
-Remeber that your Scvs are your Real Lives

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically
