I found a minor clue connection.
Quote
as one of the Mafia stepped out from behind a street corner, shooting off a simple black and white bolt at Echo with a strange weapon, freezing the man right on the spot. The Mafian turned around, and saw NerdyTerdy, who, interestingly, was carrying a sniper rifle on his back. The Mafia, without further adieu, put NerdyTerdy into permanent stasis, or at least until technology got advanced enough to save him.

Cryogenics is a topic made by Hug a Zergling. Here is the first post of the topic:
Quote
Cryogenics, for those who don't know, is the study of materials at very low temperatures, and is more commonly used to described the preservation of humans after death. People can actually pay money to have there entire body (or just there head) preserved, by putting it into a "freezer" of extremely cold temperatures as soon as they die. Scientists believe that one day, we will have the technology to unfreeze these people and they will be alive once again (They also believe a new body will be able to be created for the people who just chose to keep there head, but hey, its much cheaper)

So, would you yourself look into cryogenics, as a way to defy death? Or is this a tad extreme?

(Han Solo did it in "Return of the Jedi", why can't we?)

Quite a few similarities....
In addition, Hug a Zergling also made the following topics relating to my previous "arbiter theory":
Stasis Field
Stasis Field? (again)

Now, please understand, I don't think this is enough evidence to consider Hug a Zergling a mafia member. Don't go starting a bandwagon to have him lynched just yet. We need more evidence. My clue connections have a few problems:
-It is a weapon that freezes the two townspeople, not some sort of cryogenic chamber.
-As far as I know, cryogenic chambers dont shoot black and white bolts.
-Arbiter stasis wears off eventually, however, the stasis caused by the weapon is permanent.

I originally wasn't gonna post these clue interpretations. I wanted to wait another day for more clues, but I figure I could be dead by tomorrow. So that's why I'm posting this now.

You cut off an important part of the clue. Just sayin'.

Just a friendly reminder from the neighborhood 'god' role:
If the Townies don't lynch someone in the Mafia this round, the game will most likely be over.

The first mistake was Shocko. Are you prepared to make another?

The camera clue may also point to Oyen, but... not likely.

Sorry, I don't know much about mudkips or pokemon. I saw some picture with a mudkip shooting some white/blueish blast of "something" out of its mouth which I assumed is their attack summoned by psychic powers.

I believe you mean this:

Sorry about the reply so late.

Mudkips shoot a few things:

Water,
Mud,
Physical attacks and finally,
One compact energy attack - Bide.

Why is the freeze bolt that the Mafia's shooting black and white now? I haven't done any sort of research into it, but black doesn't seem terribly indicative of some sort of cryo-beam.

It's a bit of a gamble at this point, but I change my vote to Epoch for now. If it turns out that we've botched this lynch, there should be enough evidence to convict Hug a Zergling by tomorrow morning.

Unrelated, doesn't it seem a bit odd how the only one to mention the possible Mudkip connection died so quickly? :ermm:

I think someone may have slipped up, or I could just be interpreting it wrong.

Not funny Kaiais. Someone's going to find themselves on the recieving end of a Zergling gun shot...

I've updated the vote count to match this. It turns out that now there are only two valid votes. *swears loudly*

If you don't believe me, you can make your second mistake.

Well, since this is my last post for the day, I'm gonna change my vote to Epoch.

I don't think the clue interpretations I posted above are solid enough to convict Hug a Zergling....

I'm pretty sure that TZ's zergling gun rampages can be considered to have implied [noclues] tags, has he goes on and on about it Mafia or no.

The townies grabbed Epoch, who was intent to save himself from the townie's mistake. Too bad he was quickly grabbed before he could make his escape, as Epoch was thrown out a window, and smashing into the pavement below. If only they had listened... unless by some dumb luck, the Mafia was sure to eliminate the others with ease.

One of the survival tricks commonly used against threats such as Mafia is to travel in large groups. It is usually effective, but not always, as several townspeople would soon learn.

The group in question had the bad fortune to walk right into a Mafia trap, in the literal sense of "trap". Vi3t-X, who was in the front of the group, had the misfortune to step on a Spider Mine hidden by one of the Mafia. The explosion tore right through him, sending random organs flying all over the place. Shrapnel tore into the nearby Phobos as well, giving him severe lacerations and almost causing him to part company with several limbs. Oyen ran out to assist, only to find himself staring face-to-face with the three Mafia men. Said Mafiaoso were about to kill both of them, when they were interrupted by a shot from the Zergling gun formerly wielded by the now-deceased TassadarZeratul. An angry Zergling flew through the air at them, snarling like a rabid monkey. Dark_Marine, who had fired the shot, was glad that he had found the weapon and figured out the controls, as he thought that the 'ling would end the Mafia movement here and now.

He was sadly mistaken. One of the Mafia caught the creature masterfully and threw it back at Dark_Marine. Ouch.

The attack did do something useful, however. The zergling had distracted the Mafia long enough for Phobos and Oyen to escape. Despite being distracted and hurried immensely by the Mafia chasing them, Oyen was able to preform first aid and save Phobos from the Spider Mine injury. Unfortunately, he could not save himself from a Mafia sniper rifle. Oyen joined the dead.

** DAY 3 START **
Townies, 24 hours to lynch.
