Control Map, Hit or Miss?

Hit or Miss? Do you think I should make this map? Also, add any ideas you would like to see in it.

I am thinking of making a UMS map called Team Micro Work 4. It would be a control map not an Impossible Scenarios map. Here are the rounds I envisioned. The purpose of making 3 rounds each on 8 different types of terrain from professional maps is for nostalgia. It would be fun to duke it out on old classics.

On section of Blue Storm terrain look a like.
1. 6 Dragoons vs. 24 Zerglings
2. 6 Dragoons vs. 24 Marines (Hint: Attack retreat re-attack re-retreat)
3. 6 Dragoons vs. 4 tanks, 8 scvs, 8 marines, 6 vultures (Hint: Attack weakest enemy units first.)

On section of Destination terrain look a like.
4. 6 Zerglings vs. 2 Zealots
5. 6 Zerglings vs. 1 Cannon and 1 Pylon (Hint: Teamwork or round loss)
6. 6 Zerglings vs. 1 Lurker

On section of Python terrain look a like.
7. 6 Zealots vs. 2 Sunken Colonies (Hint: Pull and re-attack for win)
8. 6 Zealots vs. 7 Zealots (Hint: Pull and re-attack for win)
9. 6 Vultures (With Mines) vs. 6 Hydralisks (1 shot mine kills)

On section of Heartbreak Ridge terrain look a like.
10. 6 Marines vs. 3 Zealots.
11. 5 Zerglings & 1 Defiler vs. 1 Archon (Hint: Only splash damage does damage under swarm)
12. 24 Zerglings vs. 8 Zealots (Hint: 3 zerglings > 1 zealot, 6 zerglings < 2 zealot.)

On section of Yellow terrain look a like.
13. 4 bats & 2 medics vs. 20 zlings (Hint: Shoot & Heal)
14. 6 Marines vs. 7 Marines (Hint: hold position in line to get more hits.)
15. 6 Probes vs. 6 SCVs (Hint: Use range to attack without being attacked. Early game drill)

On section of Hunters KESPA terrain look a like.
16. 5 Hydras & 1 Defiler vs. 3 Sieged Tanks Clumped (No Patrol) (Hint: Use plague and then reengage when hp falls.)
17. 6 Marines vs. 1 Ultralisk
18. 6 Marines vs. 2 Dragoons

On section of Lost Temple terrain look a like.
19. 6 Marines vs. 2 Lurkers
20. 6 Marines vs. 8 Zerglings
21. 6 Siege Tanks (no siege) vs. 4 reavers (Abuse scarab AI by retreating and causing it to miss after attacking)

On section of Chameleon terrain look a like.
22. Vultures vs reavers (They can try to lay mines or They can escape before scarab explodes and can outrun them I think.)
23. 6 zerglings vs 2 zlot 1 nexus 4 probes mining with build script.
24. Big finale battle with a variety of units vs. a large swarm.

I'm always a fan of impossible//micro maps. I say, MAKE IT!

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?

Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings

Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.

NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.

NudeRaider -- Contained nothing new for me. Didn't know all building's behavior, but very much all unit's. Also Terran balance whine - also nothing new :lol:
