There is a way to... In my clan there was a map being made where all units were stacked in one of various 1x1 squares and attacked passing units.

LOL. I have a defense in production that is based on that as well. They attack perfectly fine until they lose their target (it moves out of their range). When that does happen, it takes several seconds for them to stop moving and acquire a new one.
My map is called "Time Defense." What about your clanmate's?

Ah, so it just takes them longer to acquire a target in the first place?

Wormer you need to add a Command Center, Nuke Silo, Ghost, and edit Nuke cost/time (fast&free)
Edit: oh oh and some high templar with psi storm researched, and some lurkers, and some reavers, and some siege tanks, all invincible.
And a reset button to remake the rines, powerups, and spam order sequence.
Nice map. Ive seen units do this on many occasions but I didn't know it could be done quite so quick & deliberate.
Reminds me of Normandy SE and all the dragoons named after german tanks. They did this kind of thing every game.
