Does anybody have counter-strike weapons shooting and reloading sounds from 1.6, I am making a ONE UNIT per player map that will be about terrorists and such.

None.

there was an old CS Soundpack in the database but I can't find it, and I recently wiped my comp.. Maybe it's still there or someone has it?

U should know something before import new sounds in sc maps. The map size depends very much of the size of the .wav files and how many they are. Probably u would need more than just 1 sound .. so make sure the size of them is very very smal(like PCM 8 bit MONO). The quality of the sound is geting worst converting to 8 bit but that`s the only way to import more than 1 or 2 .wavs. Otherwise the map size become very big and the players who want to play would have a lot of difficulties trying to download it the game room. I`m posting this in case u dont know those things...GL.

OutOfTouch, please don't provide incorrect info ;)

StarCraft actually compresses 16 bit sounds to be smaller than 8 bit ones, while 8 bit looks smaller as a file, once you put it in the map it's actually larger than a 16 bit file. Other than that, you are correct ^^

No, Thats my other soundpack. It doesn't include weapons, Its things like "Headshot!" and "Ultra Kill!"

But I should have a grenade sound, sniper reload and fire, and some other things in this map I made here:

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
