Create Unit

So i'm havin' a trigger creating a Refinery (CC) once an MCV is deployed (Siege Tank siege mode.)

Basicly its an easy trigger with something like that:

Condition:
-Player Current Player Command at least 1 MCV (Pack.)
Action:
-Move Location labeled on MCV loc Refinery Placement at Anywhere.
-Kill All units at location Refinery Placement
-Wait 50 Miliseconds.
-Create 1 Refinery at Refinery Placement
-Preserve Trigger

------

So it should work perfectly, having a small delay in betwen placement, the thing is i was afraid that some unit might get on this location before the refinery is spawned, which would be kidna dope, so i hyper triggered the trigger.

Big deal is the Refinery isnt spawning anymore, nothing happens, if it was unplaceable i would get the info, then i would just make the delay higher in between kill and create, and no problemo, but theres not a single thing. Its almost like the trigger isnt working, but it is working! since the MCV Dies, but the command center (Refinery) doesnt spawn.

I Figured the hypertrigger must have fucked it up and make it repeat over and over thats why i putted switches in this trigger to disable any problems later, but it still doesnt wanna fu**in work >.>

Anyone got a solution?
Whats the problem?

You could be having wait blocks, try making the hypers for a computer player with no waits.

make sure its 63 waits and a perserve trigger.

Move your hypertriggers to the bottom of the trigger list. That should fix the problem.

The hyper triggers are owned by another player right?

Read the wiki article on Hyper Triggers. You will find a link to Wait Blocks.

Works perfectly, thx people, i just move the hyper trigger to computer owned player that doesnt have a single trigger himself.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
