It was also posted at BW Hacks, apparently the Warden is online, and is actually banning CD keys of people on Diablo and Warcraft, however, on StarCraft, it's simply banning accounts, so get a new account and you're fine.
I got banned for my bot, at least I think so, since I hadn't used any hacks for like 2 weeks before I got the same message..

This was posted at BW Hacks, although it looks like Zynastor has already fixed Oblivion to beat it, so meh A couple hours after it happened, someone had already posted what the Warden was checking for, and it was changed so Oblivion doesn't match that anymore.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically[04:26 am]
