Cloaked units wont attack?

Well this didnt really bother me before like when i used an arbiter to cloak my units or something, i would just click my units and make them attack manually...

but now i have a trigger that creates cloaked ghosts that are supposed to attack the nearby enemy before getting killed via trigger (Death Counter counts down from 10, ghosts die at 0)
(yes i tried Order, Attack)

so basically, is there a way to make cloaked units attack automatically without them needing to be detected by the enemy or a nearby friendly unit needing to be attacked first?

ghosts dont auto attack when cloaked, to keep with their infiltration role. anything else will i think, but not ghosts

Try issuing an order to the Ghosts to attack, right after you create them.

Use patrol instead. I'm not sure if it will work, as I always use hold position to make them attack.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
