(6) Revolver
A 3vs3 player map where allies spawn together under Use Map Settings.

Features:
1. Defeat screen only when you and your allies have all died.

2. Map is greyed out at the start of the game rather than blacked out, so the layout of bases and terrain is visible.

3. Slots for two observers.

4. Mains: 5 Minerals and 3000 Gas
Expansions: 6 Minerals

Mineral Placement need to be redone - Refer to this: http://www.staredit.net/topic/5150/

Also, make sure that it is possible to put turrets behind the mineral line.

And, why are your maps always so tight? It always favors Terran
And, not having a nat is a big debilitation for Zerg players.

Other than that, a tight 3v3 is interesting but it could use something unique.

Why doesn't this have any nats? You can't just throw 2 expos in a 6-player map and expect it to work.

It's a 3v3 map, games don't usually go long enough to need nats. I played a couple games on it and it's pretty fine, basically a tiny tiny map with heaps of ling rushes and stuff.

Red classic.

We played this again at the Duke Nukem Tournament after most of the tournament was finished. The game lasted quite a while for such a small map. With regards to balance, the main problem was how easy it was for people with a big early game army to rush one player and eliminate them. Teching is hard to do.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?

Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings

Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.

NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.

NudeRaider -- Contained nothing new for me. Didn't know all building's behavior, but very much all unit's. Also Terran balance whine - also nothing new

Oh_Man -- makes me wonder if SEN knows anything about the topic
