Yes, since it's crystal clear that man didn't invent light, they are arguing whether gods creation could be counted towards the meaning of invention because some definitions of it use the term "create".

Invention uses what already exists. A god's creation would not be the same at all. It is by all definitions 'creation', as it would be creating something out of nothing.
