Maelstrom sets off AI and ruins my map

Firstly, my town is made of doodad sprites on broken ground, and the terrain is ashworld, so if i were to add lava under the doodads to make it so you can't walk through the doodads it would look terrible; I put DTs behind the sprites instead on a non-vision, allied computer player so that they cannot walk through the doodads. One of the characters has Maelstrom as their spell, however, if they hit their teammate by mistake, the AI makes all the enemy units on the map target the mael'd Hero. This wouldn't be such a big deal if the allied computer player's AI didn't send all the DTs in the town out to assist the mael'd Hero. Is there a way to tell this pointless auto-AI to hit the road? (I also have a similar problem with another spell that summons Gantrithor, making all the scouts on the map target him). Any help would be much appreciated.

EDIT: I've fixed the DT problem by just assigning them to player 9 as a Neutral, IDK why I never thought of it before. However, I am still having problems with the Maelstrom in regards to the enemy units aggroing the mael'd unit, as well as the Gantrithor issue

Set the Dark Archons to Player 12, they won't cast maelstrom or do anything at all.

I don't think there is a solution to the ai response to a carrier/Gantrithor. You could try making it invincible.

Neutral enemies don't have an AI. You might try that.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
