Coloring Missions Objectives

I tried setting mission objectives (during the game via a trigger) to this block of text but everything from the second line down remains gray.

<13><04>The Industrial World
<13><05>1783-1945
<13>Created by rayNimagi
<13><04>America
<07>Event: Manifest Destiny
<05>(Sends an army to conquer the West Coast.)

What I'm aiming for is this:
The Industrial World
1783-1945
Created by rayNimagi

America

Event: Manifest Destiny
(Sends an army to conquer the West Coast.)

In-game, the alignment works fine. It's the color (which should change on the fourth line ("America")) to white, then green on the next, and back to gray. It all fits in the mission objectives window. What am I doing wrong?

Win by luck, lose by skill.

The gray colour tag makes everything after it gray, regardless of what other tags you put after it. Use a different colour, or use gray for the last words only.

Red classic.

That's strange, I can use gray in other texts and it works fine. I'll just change it for the objectives then. Thanks!

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

If it's on a single line, then gray overwrites everything. It's likely that mission objectives considers it all one line. Ah well, it's one color. Whoop-dee-doo.

I order you to forgive yourself!

Invisible got the same effect. I forgot if there were any other colors like that though.

There is not. Grey and invisible are the only ones.

None.

Because that is how SC uses it. It is used in like disabled buttons and such, which must be completely greyed out.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
