Let me show you how to hump without making love.

Did anyone else know that Low and Medium are considered the same thing in Ashworld? High is only relevant to the raised ground... I was pretty angry with this discovery, I had some fun ideas to play with.

Does anyone know why it might be like this and if there is something I am missing?

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

there is no low ground in ash world. Magma is the only thing I would guess would be low ground, but it wouldn't matter much anyway, since only air units can be on magma.

It's the same thing with the 'Raised Jungle' in the Jungle tileset ;o

With the raised jungle however, since you also have "high raised jungle", you can artificially create a "true raised jungle" with the right vision and hit% by making raised jungle and replacing its tiles with high ground.

I implemented it in this map:

The true pinnacle of terrain height problems is the Badlands tileset. There are only ever two height levels. I was quite annoyed.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
