Because someone asked for such a thing and it was simple, I have created a little tool to place a Player 15 Scarab or Map Revealer as the first unit in a map.

Download! (Uses P15 Interceptor)
Download! (Uses P15 Scarab)
Nothing elaborate... Just a checkbox and two options (scarab or map revealer).


... Whee!

Hello

lul.... easy and cool :D
its crap if you placed mass units and forgot the p16 scarab Oo you have to cut em and then paste em; which isnt really easy and tese units do NOT snap to grid again [at least not rightly; there are always some pixel between grid and unit....]

thx for that toll ;)

Apparently some maps have the top left tile as unwalkable ... Switched Scarab to Interceptor.

Old version still exists if you want Scarab instead ...

I just opend a topic "3 Map Tricks..." under "Map Making Assistance"
can you programm the tool so, that ideling units still will attack the enemys??
would be cool :D

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

just make another option that creates a p15 map revealer instead of the interceptor. It's another type of speed increasing (normal walking speed, I think, but faster animations/fire rate).

or

that feature just exist! :D

sou, can you also add a "place map revealer" tool? its crap that scm draft never stack the revealrs [scenario -> place map revealers] and at the left site and sometimes down site is just always fog!
so can you make this feature??
(i know that is another theme, it has nothing with "speed" to do :D)

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.
